  1. Nobody reading any instructions any more these days? So many problems are just home made.
  2. I red somewhere else, that the tool puts, instead of. in the config file, depending on your language setting. You want to check the resulting config file for this issue.
  3. Not only Varjo User. The pimax ET need also the QV "add on". Same as Varjo, so starting next week, with ET and QVFR, a bunch of Pimax Crystal User v will show up as well.
  4. It is missing the .net components and the up so date download of net won't run it. Good guy found out that it seems to depend on 3.1 Net version, which is pretty old. Other than that, great idea.
  5. Very nice. I wish I would just have a little bit of modeling skills, but a just a easy box brings me already to my limits in fusion 360
  6. Replace would be the right term, I guess.
  7. nullPress the Finish button Then press the edit button double click the Keyword section insert the keywords (CTRL + V) into the shown field
  8. The manual states to do the "finish steps", guess that's what you are missing.
  9. I was doing a autostart indeed, because I just wanted to check the voice over and did something different while the script was running. So that might be a thing. I believe the Hornets were all gone, I don't know how many Tomcats. I flew out to around 15 - 20 miles and did the call in, made sure to be at the ordered alt by 10 miles and got the C call right away. Saw the Tomcat on deck and was hoping she would launch but nope. Stupid AI, I believe every moment that they are a pain in the butt for you campaign developer.
  10. Hello (again) I started the campaign again, after your recent updates, and I must say it is a totally different ballgame. Great work with the voice-overs, thank you. However UZI 2-1 (at least Tacview says it is him ) / 205 never takes off and thus blocking landing. I taxied to CAT 3, took off, got into hold and received C while 205 was still sitting behind cat 3. No action was seen for him to take off. You might want to take a look. I will try again on the other day and hope it was a one time occurrence. All the others took off like they are supposed to be
  11. Zero Doppler Filter / MLC? Not enough speed of closure to lock them in PD (what I believe jester only does).
  12. Are you guys done yet? 6th post is the solution. End of story
  13. I don't know, I'm kind of old (50+) but I love Jester as he is. Yes, I sometimes yell at him to shut the f... up, sometimes even turn the ICS volume down, but most of the times I'm happy with him and even burst into laughter of I hear, after all this time, something new. I was never part of an aircrew, but was a part of a team to spread airplane parts over a great distance, and thous did the same thing, lowered the intercom for guys that stepped on my nerves during an "training" engagement. These guys were as professional as the rest of the crew, but they did not fit my style. Long story short, there are times for some knuckleheads and there is a time to be dead serious. Since I do a lot of training flights with Jester and only rarely engage in "combat", I really enjoy the GIB, even though some of the punch lines are lost on me, for being European with it's own 80s culture (someone said time machine to go back?). I love for him to be in a light mood and hope he did not get "castrated" too much in further iterations.
  14. Since I almost exclusively fly the B Model, I can ensure you that there is a throttle setting that keeps the B perfectly on AOA with no vertical movement. Instedt of RPM, which in my book is way too coarse, you should check for FF. That's the Parameter I set my engines for during Case 1. If you can't obtain level flight on AOA, I would start with checking the controller settings for a linear input.
  15. Hello, I must admit im lost a little. I'm pretty sure there are lights turning on with activation of the AP / Autohover, but I don't find them in chucks guide. I'm away from my computer for another 2 - 3 weeks, so I can't check.
  16. Thank you for the mod. One question, the AP lights, ate they supposed to show the original labeling?
  17. No, not Heatblur made that decision, but most probably Grumman. The time they designed the Tomcat and the respective EW suit (even though I bet it was later updated), they thought: "Hey, there will be a game in a couple of decades featuring our planned plane, would it not be fun to screw with the people of the future by one of our design ideas?" so they developed a blinking jammer, just to fool the DCS crowd. No other reason that I can think of to design something like that. < irony off >
  18. I found the solution and it is pretty easy. Heatblur heared the gripes and implemented the ICS Volume knob. If you turn it all the way down, Jester will behave and act grown up, listening in awe to his master in the front commands and work them flawlessly.
  19. Im pretty sure I heared some stuff during a time personal computers were still a room full of low tech Btw, I like Jester. Might be a age thing. Maybe a age 50+ label on the product might be in order.
  20. I will look into it. I managed to make the center press work, but only by a strech. I used joystick gremlin for it, but it was not easy at all, had to fiddle a lot until it worked, which is more of a limitation of the software distinguishing between two simultan button presses.
  21. Very nice. I printed your F-4 grip on anticipation of the HB module and been highly pleased. Even so I most probably won't fly the SE much, let alone sit in the back, I might buy the files from cults, just to show my appreciation for your work. Will keep an eye out for more stuff to show up. Very impressed with your solutions, thank you.
  22. Yeap, exactly. Like I said, I knew it would happen this way, but I'm also interested in what's possible in DCS and every new module pushes the boundary a little. I will take the Hen out once in a while, but most probably only for a leisure trip without serious weapons carry along.
  23. Parked the F-15 in the hangar already, too much diddle diddle for me. Only thing that will challenging the Kingpin position of the F-14 will be the F-4. I knew it would happened as soon as I bought the eagle on day one. If ever a F-15A will show up, I will re evaluate, though.
  24. I use the two engine something momentary on the base as fingerlifts. The jump from cutout to idle can be mapped.
  25. On the contrary, a very good example. These sounds, unrealistic as they are, make up for my missing sense - feel. I neither feel if I actually flipped a switch (or just clicked the mouse button but missed the target), nor do I feel the acceleration as the AB kick in. I did only a short hop in the F-15 yesterday and had quiet a hard time to figure out when the AB actually kicked in (still need to adjust my throttle) and I DON'T believe a second a real life pilot will look at Nozzle position or something to determin if he is in AB. I bet there are tons of haptic feedbacks in the real thing. So yes, a little unrealistic enhancement of the other senses might go a long way in this Game!!
