some OT! All new builds that should coming with EDGE are shifted to the end of November or Winter 2014 (end December 2014 - end March 2015) So I wouldn't bet a cent on a release from EDGE this year. In Decmeber the vecations in the USA are starting and from Januar the "party" in russia is starting. So if EDGE is not at the end of November on our PCs, I think we will get EDGE not until March 2015, more later.

That souldn't happend! If ED is right and all the AMD GPU problems comming from a lack of AMD DX9 support, my System must more than double the FPS. I switched from a 480 GTX with average 60 FPS to a R9 290X with a average of 35 FPS. Same gamesettings. Nothing else changed. The R2 290X is more than 2.5 times faster as the old 480GTX in every game, even in old DX9 games. The ONLY game that get no benefit from my new Card is DCS. The ONLY game I get less FPS is DCS. I had e-mailed with AMD support and they clearly said: ALL AMD Cards are FULL DX9 compatible. IF there is NO "external GPU" Code (like some nVidia optimations like in the past was made from nV), even DCS should get a big FPS raise with a new AMD card. The Problem is NOT the lack of DX9 support from AMD (there is no lack), there is something strang stuff in DCS engine coding (perhaps some help from nV? were not the first game with this "optimation")! But that's not the point! If ED is right and all this is based of the lack of DX9 Support from AMD, so with EDGE/DX11 ALL NEW AMD Cards MUST get an EXTREM boost, or ED has something strange to explain! We will see this next year, if DCS 2.0 (aka EDGE) will find the way on our PCs. My old 480 GTX lays here and I will test the new build with both cards.

Oh man! You and many others are not in arguments that much, are you? Do you never thought about that the FM of the P51D isn't that good, so the whole landing/starting part needs some advanced "love"? What's wrong with you guys? It's hard to master so it's right because a simulation must be hard to master? And if it's hard to master it's right? Sorry but some of you should think about some arguments and not of this nonsens... hard isn't always right! There is something extrem wrong with the landing and starting. This has nothing to do with sim or arcade. I have tried some belly landings and after some landings till full stop, suddenly the plane was jumping like a wild horse till a big explosion. So there ARE some bugs and it must NOT be hard to do something to be a SIM!

I have not reviewed his work, but gave pointed out that the frames are still too wide. So what's your point? Bad sleeping? :dunno:

We now have the FW190D-9 (I love this Bird) but not the SU27 with the new PFM, mostly done since 1 year, before the FW190D-9 were not nearly done!? :music_whistling: The communication between us und ED is "good" as always. What's going on with the SU27 PFM (mostly done a year ago)? Stolen? Lost? It's a little bit funny. :pilotfly:

Could it be that this is a copy protection? Is your SN a original one? You buyed it here in the E-Store? Sounds very strange.

Fixed it with my Warthog. Change the throttel axis to Slider and 100%.

Ähm.. what you guys think about us? The first Vid shows a pilot mistake and he was on gras and the runaway had a few degrees sideslip. In the second one the tail wheel was clearly "broken" at touch down. So what will you show us? That clear Pilot mistakes compare to non mistakes of us? Or that a broken wheel shows the cautious of a full functional rear wheel in DCS? :huh:

Full Thrust isn't necessary or do you really think you need always full thrust to steer your plane on ground with the rudder or only at full thrust there is a effect by the prop air on the rudder? Not really?! As you can see if you watch some AI Planes at the taxi procedure, the FW is bumping and steers like the TRON Bikes. The rear wheel is bumbing and moves the whole time in opposite directions. The FW190 D-9 moves not the same way as all other Planes in DCS. Looks more like a Rodeo. The physics are clearly broken.

No matter what, but something is wrong! No real Airplane slips this stupid around.. not one! The Rudder has no smooth effect. First the plane slips left, after a smooth 5° right rudder the plan slips 30° right and I get no effect from the rudder pulled completely left? How could this be? Please give me a explanation! If this is right I will eat a brick.

^ This! My old nV 480 GTX gives me 50% more FPS as my new R9 290X. And this happens only in DCS. ALL other old DX9 Games runnig like crazy with my R9 290X. So no new module until EDGE is out! Perhaps next year, if we are lucky... :megalol: If you have FPS Problems with your AMD GPU, try to disable Hyper-Threading in the BIOS. HT is a NO GO for AMD GPUs and DCS. Disabling HT should raise your FPS in DCS around 40%. Try it.
