  2. I think I'll revert the whitecaps on waves to the default soon as they do appear to cause issue as you say, I'll be updated the package shortly to address that along with a couple of other things :)

  5. Waste of energy, tried in the past to make some adjustments to clouds but there is only so much you can do with them, going to wait for ED to introduce the new cloud system.
  6. I'm certain that I haven't adjusted anything that affects shadows in this mod, bit confused about this one, can anyone else verify this? edit: shadows set to off in options, I see no shadows on objects
  7. Wow how on earth did you get the ocean looking like that? I'll take a look, it might be possible to lower the brightness of the foam caps.

  9. The IC fail with watercompose.hlsl is the file causing the long load time as it recompiles shaders, just close DCS and restart it and do not enter SP just go straight to server it will work.

  11. It will providing you go straight into server and do not launch single player or do anything else first, treat it the same as you would any other shader mod such as Kegetys VR pack etc.

  13. Been using GPU scheduling in 2004 with my 2080 RTX with no issues, streaming, VR etc what display driver are you people using? 451.67 here.

For me with my i7 10700k I see core 12 and 15 being used close to 100% (core 15 is a hyperthread and not ideal) and the rest staying at a very low amount, I have to force a more balanced load via task manager core affinity setting for DCS.exe, just wished it worked properly via the autoexec.cfg.

As a side note the affinity_mask parameter in autoexec.cfg still doesn't work properly, it was slated to be fixed for this beta https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=264593&page=2 you can still force desired core allocation via task manager but it's a bit awkward, would much prefer the autoexec.cfg method working.

  17. The parameters I posted above will fix your problem guaranteed, I have had this problem too many times in the past and this method is the solution, you can even push visibility levels up even higher.

You need to have raised instancer values, goto: DCS World OpenBeta\Config\terrain and open terrainoptions41.lua with notepad++ and goto line 274 section and match these values: bufferSize = 32768; checkBufferSize = false; multiAppendBufferSize = 2097152; parentBufferSize = 32768; childsBufferSize = 131072;

While not a 10900k I have just ordered the following this evening: Intel Core i7 10700K, S 1200, Comet Lake, 8 Cores, 16 Threads, 3.8GHz, 5.1GHz Turbo ASUS ROG STRIX Z490-F GAMING, Intel Z490, S 1200 motherboard 64GB (2x32GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB PRO Black, PC4-25600 (3200) memory should all be here on Friday, going from this trusty 4790k setup to that should be a nice upgrade, will be using the 2080RTX and SSDs etc and carrying them over to this.

  22. Do you have stereo_mode_use_shared_parser set to true in either options.lua or graphics.lua? If so that would be the root of that problem.
