My thoughts are that ED has too much currently on their plate to do the F4 but know it’s a cash cow so they’re not going to give it up. Only reason I can think of that something so iconic isn’t even in near term consideration. Seems bizarre but...

I use Windows 10 with no issues. Dcs seems to run as good as anyone else I have seen with a similar setup. It’s a bit late to draw the privacy line if that’s what your after. Every word you speak on a phone, every word you type in an email, every web page you visit you are being listed to. Hell here in the US, there are now cameras every 5 miles on the interstate system capturing your every movement, at least here in Michigan. They have license plate scanners mounted on overpasses scanning your plate when you go past. (Look up Integral blue) Orwellian is nothing compared to where we have landed. Sucks but hey, c’mon in, gates are now open... Now 5G phones, THAT is something I will never use. Spread freakin COVID all over the planet, whats next????

Other than the few of you that are real pilots, i’ll bet you none of you yahoo’s could launch off a carrier, refuel then trap an F14. So get over the game vs sim thing. Everything you use is a crutch or shortcut. As real as you can get? Maybe, but even you sanctimonious tabletop “top guns” are on crack. I’m surprised the real pilots don’t call y’all out....

I should add that regardless, it sure is a helluva fun plane to fly. I think they have done a beautiful job. Of course, anything will need a tweak or two....

I think you have to be all in or all out. If the idea is to allow some “pass thru” features for a two man crew, then you should allow jester, or bindings for ALL requested features wanted by the purchaser. As long as it is something that a 2 person crew can do legitimately. On the other hand. If you’re not allowing “some” options then you should allow NO options. Ie if I go to the back, no one controls the F14 flight unless autopilot is set, or if I go back to “gun” the huey spins helplessly out of control. THERE is your friggen realism. Get rid of easy coms, get rid of Jester , get rid of the animations on the super carrier and require a crew of players to launch you on the carrier. THEN PUT A BIG NOTE ON THE WEB SITE SAYING “DON’T BUT THIS MODULE IF YOU DON’T HAVE BUDDIES” so people don’t pay full price for the half complete experience crap. Of course that won’t happen because the company wants your money and the “I’m a real pretend pilot and your a lousy simmer” crowd couldn’t continue to profit or display their “I’m superior attitudes “ respectively. People just need to drop the idea that this game, however realistic, won’t ever make you a real pilot and will ALWAYS be a compromise, period! Don’t make it an arcade but pick a realistic and practical line in the sand will ya!!!

The mind melt is that they made us yammer on for months only to announce that it was really something we already knew about. Certainly didn’t see that coming. That said, I’m happy for the rotor heads and excited that I have 80 bucks that I can spend on something else cause I won’t be purchasing. Maybe next module will be my speed.

Honest question. I have pretty darn clear periphery in my index and I’m happy. Other product users are complaining about blurry edges and seem unhappy. How would lowering resolution outside the sweet spot help either party? Seems it would just make edges on all units blurry. thanks.
