There is mode now that slaves the tgp exactly to the velocity vector marker on the hud. You can use that already. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk

I would like both. The typhoon would be my number 1 choice for BVR/Air superiority but the rafale would a blast for more omnirole and A2G missions. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk

Simple answer, go get a rift s in amazon so you know you can test it and give it back if its not of your pleasure. I'm one of those that cant get back to a monitor. Its not even appealing after feeling you are in a fighter with its full size glory and turning your head back to check six in a dogfight, or feeling the speed at low level. If you were to choose between Flanker and Eagle...
falcon_120 replied to Gierasimov's topic in Chit-Chat
The r77 as it is now in game is really poor performing. Too draggy and no loft capability shortens its range even more (not that i know the RL missile is capable of lofting) Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk -
Yes, actually if I were to make a brief summary of DCS I would say "the most amazing thing I've seen in a commercial product. The only place where you can take a high fidelity plane in VR and think for some minutes you are actually fliying a military grade simulator". But that is a normal human behavior, in forum you always see a negative bias because people feels it is the place to voice out their discomfort, and it is kind of true. So basically, when analyzing any forum or product review board you definetely need to take away between 15/35% of negative feedback, which is in fact artificial, if after removing that percentage the feedback is still bad, run away :P. In general I don't see so much rage in these forum except for some thread every now and then. That is in line with the amazing quality of ED and other 3rd parties products.

I would buy any of them. I would refrain from going out a whole month if that is what i needed to buy them, that is how much i love both planes and ED products. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk -

To the OP, it is still a very valuable contribution thanks :). -
I dont see how that could be a pleasent experience, but i might give it a try just to see how it works. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk

Let "set wallpaper" option enable for all modules
falcon_120 replied to ebabil's topic in DCS Core Wish List
+1 Additionally, and if its not too much work, I would love a simple GUI tab that let you select a different picture as a wallpaper from the main menu, so you can pick one from your hard drive. It would be lovely if this is saved from update to update. I know you can set already your own wallpaper but it is very inconvenient and it is overwritten with each update. -
How is that cleaning example even close to what ED does? Arent you able to fly the hornet, operate almost all their systems, enter flight plans or use more than 20 weapons just to name a few things? Just to put thing into perspective. A T-shirt is 14/30$, a pint of beer could be 10$ in some places, a night out is probably 80$. A shitty vr game that you can use for 3 hours is maybe 40$. Many of you here are too used to the client is always right thing. So much that you have made yourself believe you are some kind of heroe with your money spent, it even seems lile you saved a company from misery. Trading and fair market should be a win situation for all, one where you pay a price and you expect a fair good or service in return. In this case, 80$ is a way way low price for a product like ED modules. If you calculate the $ per hour you spent, which is actually a fair metric to use, it is even ridiculous. And the culprit here is precisely that, the point you need to understand is that, because ED is not charging a fair price, something that is sustainable for them, so they can keep the engine up to date while keeping all modules as much bug free as possible while running an ever evolving engine, they are in constant need of creating content just to keep the wheel running and rushing sometimes certain modules into EA. If instead of 80$ per modules, you would be paying a monthly fee like in many other games or services, then you would be right and you would be crying with all the right reasons. I've always thought ED should charge more so some of your cries about unfinished products could actually make any sense. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk

Actually they do. The use a system that simulates virtual shots and based on aircraft parameters determine a kill. In order to register each aircraft position, speed,etc... they use a telemtry pod called acmi. Also thanks to link16 and other protocols NATO aircraft can transmit who they are locking or what they systems are seeing. Altogether this will create a virtual war in exercises like red flag. I will throw my two cents. First of all I really like transparence like this you have shown ED, even when dissapoints some people. It is the way to go, although not a pleasant road sometimes I must admit. Regarding the roadmap, I will share my humble opinion. The roadmap is good but in general I will stick to the following principle: -Systems and FM first and then weapons -I would like any hotas command missing witihin the 2020 period. -I think finishing anything related to JHMCS functionality is a good call -I would love that markpoints and MGRS grid coordinates format to be moved higher up the priority list. -S/A and automatic countemeasures and DATA cardtrige is quite important and a QoL addition that would be great to have on 2020. Thats all, and a happy customer here that will still buy your amazing products.

Suggestion for an early introduction [Early access]

There is a point in fostering the discussion and there is the joy of the discussion itself where you see very valids and different PoVs. This is a discussion forum right? :) -

Another thing to factor in is, if you really want to be dangerous in a hornet in air 2 air and against good pilot, forget carrying 10 amraams. Take 4 amraams ans 2 9x with 2 bags that you should drop before the engagement. A clean hornet with 4 MRM + 2 SRM is a much closer match to a viper and accelarates incredibly fast. Put a double amraam launcher and all your accelartion goes to hell. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk

Hola, bienvenido!
As Quigon conveniently highlights, I think the EA is a good option for some of us and it should not prejudice any customers who decides to stay away. As you can see in my OT, i clearly stated that this is a controversial theme, and to avoid the discussion to drift away I tried to encourage the participation of those who like it, to see what is the best approach and foster that discussion. In any case of course any opinion are welcome since this is a forum. But please keep it civilized and do not belittle those of us who would love to fly a typhoon in VR in 1 year better than in 3, even if its without weapons. -
