  1. Hello ED, I'm just curious how far down the list of things to implement is the creation of markpoints and inputing coordinates in grid format as the one JTACs normally use I'm also particularly interested in the creation of mark points through the jhmcs. Thanks! Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  2. Varias cosas Atazar. 3. Its totally ok! A few more minutes in the oven, is starting to smell good Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  4. True, it was rather a request for info from other posters who might have read about it. Although, otoh i thought part of the announcement from ED was about getting into a constructive analysis of the AS IS regarding the Phoenix and SD10 with you guys and DEKA to see if they (the missiles) are where they should be, and I mean following a total factual approach. I get from your answer that no contact have been made from ED and no discussion is happening. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  5. On a different topic, i'm curious about the whitepaper ED would share with other 3rd parties regarding missiles and of course the improvements to the aim120c lofting and FM They were expected for february, any news about this? Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  6. Have you tried a repair? Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  7. Why? It is actually quite easy to dodge a phoenix combining good notch with agressive chaff. At least i can say i can do it enough as to feel comfortable fighting f14 in MP and avoid running away like there is no fight to put up. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  8. I think you are falling into a very common phalacy, while A is true does not imply B is true: "the phoenix was designed to kill bombers at very long ranges outside of the range where these bombers were supposed to launch their missiles" that is true. But then, you are implying as a corollary that it should perform badly against fighters, which has no correlation. It might be totally true or totally false. If you want to prove it you need to discuss how the whitepaper in which the phoenix is based is wrong. The common sense, at least for me is totally the opposite, you have a missile capable of insane speeds and with a huge warhead, i mean the common sense tells me that even being at 20 metres from a maneuvering target and exploding would cause serious damage to the plane... It also has huge surface to maneouver, idk, the only thing that seems a bit wrong to me is his resistance to countermeasures and jamming, just that. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  9. There was a guy in this forum that run a very imteresting test with hundres of samples regarding the probability of defeating shots based on different combinations of chaff/flares (number and spacing between them). I will look for it to see i find it again and drop it here. EDIT: So it turned out it was on reddit, here you go: Kudos to tideroller2 who made this post. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  10. I used to follow that approach, however, after many many hours in MP and getting the hang out of what you should be doing and what you should never do, i've moved to the following principle (which I feel is more clever and more true to RL operations): -Make flare program really aggresive (something like 12 flares every 0.20 seconds), such that you will most likely defeat an IR shot at the expense of running out of it, which is ok since dieing with flares left IS A WASTE (Use them or loose them). The reasoning is simple, if you receive an IR shot you did something very very very wrong, either you are fliyng too low and too close during CAS/SEAD, or you are getting too close during BVRing/CAPing or you got trapped in an ambush. In either case if you manage to survive then it is time to go home and rearm or go to friendly zone to regain your SA. In the end, if you fly properly and to your strengths (Both technically and tactically) you should very randomly receive close shots from IRs (the exception being fighting flankers).
  11. Does it brake mp ic? Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  12. The thing is, no one is finding that behavior, at least not me and also i have not seen any threads about it like on many other topics (amraam vs sd10, phoenix op, etc...). I can tell you from my end an aim9x shot is almost always a guaranteed kill or a guranteed dead. So if you are noticing something that needs attention(which might be the case not saying you are wrong) im afraid you need to back it up with tests or tracks that shows a possible bug or misbehavior. This is the normal process. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  13. Its a whale hornet!
  14. I would ask you, can you share the details and statistics gathered? Otherwise is hard to tell. And btw, yes i would say flare resistance for the 9x should be much better than for the r73/9M series. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  15. Exactly the sames happens in the f18. The range gate that should stop this from happening is not implemented (wip), and the viper and the hornet shares a lot of the radar code... Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  16. Correct, for a RL pilot takes a second to extend his right arm and change the radar to TWS. For us the same requires reaching a mouse and pressing the button that can be more troublesome. I also agree that without the permissiveness of the Navy Boeing would not have developed such a HOTAS system, or at least it would not have stayed like that for so many hornet lots and versions.
  17. Sometimes i've even seen myself as hostile on datalink (always in MP), with the consecuence heart attack until i realize its myself (#likeadogscaredofhisshadow). Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk
  18. Well hard to say, i have both modules and i can say that the amraam is deadlier when used from the f16c but that i think it is very much due to the massive accelaration of the viper, which allows me to shoot at M1.0-M1.25while on the hornet I normally only do M0.95-M1.1 unless im really empty of pilons and bags. 19. Atazar, you need to use cranking as an approach method to reduce the distance at which any bandit can engage you, this will let you get closer to a high PK shot without being so exposed and trash enemy shots done at long range. Here is some videos that will help you:
  20. Vaicom pro is an addon on top of voice attack (VA), so the latter is required. It is a HUGE enhancement over VA, so pick them both. Enviado desde mi SM-G950F mediante Tapatalk

  22. Same to you. If you have any doubt about the profile just let me know, it can be tricky to understand at first. Just some tips: -You need to define a MODE switch in the joystick control panel for the secondary functionality of the buttons to work as defined in the layout attached. -The profile assumes that your SA page is on the center MFD, the radar always on the right MFD and when in AG mode your storage page is on the left MFD. Regards,
  23. As promised :) F18C TWCS.diff.lua F18C Warthog.diff.lua F18C.rar
  24. You are forgeting: -Sensor select switch left (or right if your harm page is on the right) to make harm page SOI, to check this make sure there is a little diamond in the top right corner of the MFD. -Uncage button to hand off the target to the missile, you will see a h-off indication. -Shoot.
