Hi, I am having a problem with the default head position in the Sabre. When looking at the external view, the read head rest should be about as high as the pilot's head. However, if you turn around in VR, you will found you look up at the headrest by default. It's like the default position is for a child, or slumped down pilot. I see how it makes sense in 2D as it keeps the gunsight in view, but for VR it's beyond annoying. Is there a work-around I could apply, say a file I could edit that contains the coordinates of the default head position?

This bug is unfixed, but it will be. Is it unplayable? Well not for me. I had a great time. Got good performance and after a short while I didn't even notice anything off with the clouds. Guess I'm easy like that But then I used to shoot twelve-polygon migs on an Atari ST using a clicky stick.

I bet tomorrow's patch is going to be mainly bug fixes in a push to get 2.7 to stable. But I wouldn't mind being wrong at all. No sir I wouldn't.

Hi, I finally managed to pass mission 5. Now on this one, after the radio checks, the channels remain entirely dead. Is this by design? I was on time, on the right place, but pressing the space bar did not trigger the script it should. I have tried "untouched" comms (1 on pri, 1 on aux) and pri on 1, aux on 2. Tried it the other way 'round as well. Is it broken? Am I doing it wrong?

I have done a bunch of helo PvP. Its stupid swirly fun. The Ka-50 is remarkably bad at it. Minigun huey rocks when multicrewed. But yeah those miniguns are paint chippers. The most fun kills are getting your opponent to fly into/through a rocket barrage. Gazelle is top dog. Hip is unexpectedly good but needs to be kept fast. Run in, shoot, gtfo. Its one of the faster copters in the game now.

Nice vid, but other than showing how to select and drop it, he did not show how to get the target point set. Which is the hard part if you're not doing preplanned (waypoint) bombing.

I wouldn't go that far. It does mean those features are design frozen, ie won't be changed anymore and work as intended. They are now in testing. We'll most likely see a bunch more videos in the run up to the grand two-seven.
