These are damn near perfect. The only thing that would make them even better for me is a little grime along the edges of the transparencies like the MiG-21 has.

I am doing training mission 2, cold start. I have followed instructions and now the instructor tells me to turn up radio volume, press channel 2 then ask tower for startup clearance. Tower never answers. Is the radio configured wrong? The two switches above the volume control knob are down and up, but I tried all four permutations of switch positions for those two. None works! Halp?! Edit: Turns out the tower is on channel 1 not 2 as instructed.

Hoo boy, bombing through a cloud deck took a bunch of study to get right. I almost nailed it and and then ate an igla to the face when the fancy bombs ran out. AI wingman is utterly useless in this one. Second try I got it all right. Another great one BD!

Do not underestimate the power of the brrrrrt! set the wingnut on air defences, or blast those yourself then brrrt everything else. I ended that ride with only about 300 rounds left in the tank!

I anchor the wingman when I want to do valley fighting, and give him go orders as neccesary. That way he's doing his own thing and only has to try formation flying again when the fights' over.

Fly an entire red flag overloaded. Fly more than two aircraft types in a given month.

I think they know the night lights are "insufficient" and they are working on it. I would not be surprised at all if the IR rendering rework gets released, night visible lighting suddenly gets a whole lot better. I suspect the anemic night lights from cities, traffic, etc have much to do with the way DCS currently renders the output of Night Vision Goggles. It seems a fair portion of the colour or brightness range is cut off to enable the NVG rendering. So who knows. I am completely confident the weaksauce lights will get fixes. When? No idea.

I'm your biggest fan man, love your work! I did own the original but never got around to flying it, so eh, i'll just jump in with this new one. Only just started out but it's looking (and sounding)great so far!

I did, turns out I needed to turn the left slector knob to 'Other' before entering coords.

I keep getting CDU input error when I type in the coordinates. I am obviously doing it wrong :/
