  1. No, it works in "Auto Flaps Up" flight mode as well, but it's (in plain words) "slow". I was able to trim it for inverted flight (-1g) by holding trim button for 1 minute.
  2. What flight safety? I'm sitting in my room. Nice video.
  3. Because that's how they have designed it.
  4. Ok, than works as intended.
  5. I use 20-25 curve on pitch, roll and yaw axis. No deadzone. Works nicely.
  6. The problem is that bar switch stays in up position. If you command the bar down with U, then command bar switch down as well.
  7. He is a few meters right of ship. That would increase space you have for turn. As I can see, he pulls really hard first 90 degrees, then release it significantly to do something (what?) and than he continues to pull with less g force throughout the circle. He is opening configuration at around 90 and speed drops below 200 just before carrier wave. He is eyeballying carrier all the time, and he is in slight descend. It works nicely for me. My favorite pattern so far. About your approach: I like your FOV, that's how it should be flown. I don't like to pull stick so much with speed that low, it can turn out messy.. I prefer to be on AoA Your glide control is really excellent.
  8. I just tested, if I keep speed constant, aircraft doesn't pitch up or down. I experience very slight pitch up or down moment when I accelerate/decelerate, which can be trimmed out with pitch trim control. Keep in mind pitch trim in this configuration is very slow and allows you to trim it very precisely.
  9. Source: I fly it with INS switch at off position since it was released. Not a single problem. Haven't tried A/G yet, maybe it affect that mode. To be fair, I misread OP question, and I agree with other answers, it's just a different format.
  10. Trim out asymmetry before take off and try. I haven't experienced stab asymmetry using take off trim button, but product is beta, so it's possible.
  11. Maybe that's how ATC works in your country. It's complicated problem, many different countries, different procedures, different airspaces, different languages...
  12. Nice video. Just one suggestion: you can turn on control indicator with RCTRL+ENTER so viewers can see stick and throttle movement.
  13. Obviously US Americans has to get update first. Nothing personal.
  14. OT
  15. That's simply not true at all. I play latest games with mixed components ranging from 2012. to 2014. Yes, in 2013-2014. I played at maximum settings. Today's games have same quality and performance at medium settings as 2013-2014 games at max settings. Nothing really changed for me, my experience remained same because quality of 2017. medium settings is equal to the 2013. max settings. DCS is quite different. While it's true that DCS 2.5 at max settings looks impressive, DCS 2.5 at medium settings looks worse and perform worse than DCS 1.5 at medium settings.
  16. Still missing some HUD lines with texture settings at "low".
  17. So, there is no fix for us using "low" textures? What a shame.
  18. Does this fix correct HUD symbology at "low" texture settings (missing pitch ladder, FPM scale, witch hat, etc...)?
  19. @DeepDrummer: It doesn't matter. Even with yoke captain uses left hand to fly and first officer uses right hand to fly. Flying civilian aircraft is very different than flying fighter jet, and additionally, flying a simulation is much different than flying a real fighter jet.
  20. That joystick has really nice mechanism, but it has only 4 buttons so badly designed and manufactured you cannot even distinguish whether you pressed it or not. It doesn't have tactile feedback. It's useless for DCS. I'm not flying military combat aircraft. I'm sitting in my room and playing a video game. If someone is truly interested in flying then they should go to flight school. I use X-52 pro for 1 year and I still cannot fully adapt. And when I use joy with right hand I cannot use mouse to click on buttons and switches in cockpit. I'm going to monitor reviews for that virpil.
  21. Thanks, I thought it's mechanism to adjust angle of stick around vertical axis for ergonomic purpose.
  22. Modern Combat Grip (MCG) features "External Twist Adapter (currently under development)". What exactly is the External Twist Adapter" does anybody know?
  23. PRMG, markers and beacons for rwy 04 at Krymsk are inactive at my sim whatever wind I set (direct headwind and wind speeds from light to ridiculous). EDIT: My mistake, accidentally set wind for top layer instead of bottom. Anyway it would be nice to request runway for landing, and to be approved if no traffic is planned for opposite.
