He is a few meters right of ship. That would increase space you have for turn. As I can see, he pulls really hard first 90 degrees, then release it significantly to do something (what?) and than he continues to pull with less g force throughout the circle. He is opening configuration at around 90 and speed drops below 200 just before carrier wave. He is eyeballying carrier all the time, and he is in slight descend.
It works nicely for me. My favorite pattern so far.
About your approach:
I like your FOV, that's how it should be flown.
I don't like to pull stick so much with speed that low, it can turn out messy.. I prefer to be on AoA
Your glide control is really excellent.
