  1. I made a folder in Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Textures that matches the zip...so Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Cockpit\Textures\FA-18C-CPT-TEXTURES In that folder I just placed a 1024x1024 dds file that is only the colour #ff05fb. I named the dds file F18C_cpt-glass_refl_RoughMet.dds and started up the game. You'll have to experiment with the baked in textures.
  2. Its doable, but there is a green glow at the front that isn't very realistic, so its just a matter of changing the baked texture. https://streamable.com/ckdv3q
  3. There was a lot of different schemes at the end of their service life, that one I believe is called "Faux Pas". Belcher bits has a pretty comprehensive decal sheet with most of the schemes.
  4. Its called "Ghost".
  5. Will be in 2 flavours: Now LIVE: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3316617/ https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3316618/ Be sure to get Fallen's Unofficial Roughmet patch to go with these. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3303667/
  6. Tried it just now. Still does it. I've just permanently unplugged it.
  7. There has to be roughmets in the textures folder for you to be able to activate them. The easy solution is to create your roughmets and then add them to the folder. There is a naming standard you have to match and that is to call your roughmets default_texture_roughmet.dds. IE you need the _roughmet at the end of the standard default texture name. If the texture files are zipped, simply create a new regular folder with the same name as the zip and then drop your roughmets in there. That way you don't risk breaking IC. Once that is done the game will completely ignore all spec maps in favor of the roughmet. Then you can add yours to your livery through the normal way by adding the lines in the lua.
  8. 1. Log in to the website. 2. Go to user files section 3. Click "Upload New Files" button at top right 4. Fill in the form where all the starred items are. 5. Select zip file and images. 6. Click "Upload" button.
  9. Use the user files section of the main DCS website. Mediafire links will just get lost in the vast jungle that is the forum.
  10. So far I've only done VMFA-312. I can do others. I only did VFA-113 because I had a model of a Hornet in these markings as a kid.
  11. I don't think so. I can hold my head perfectly still by holding it against my chair's headrest. Its following my eyes, trust me. I want to love this thing, I really do, all $230 worth of love. But this thing gives me actual head aches, which I never got with TIR.
  12. That didn't work. It still tracks my eyes. I don't feel like there is any way to turn gaze off, at least not to the degree I want it off. I've never been so aware of eye movement until I plugged this thing in. I know its an eye tracker but I just can't get used to this thing. Head tracking works perfectly fine, but the constant micro movement caused by eyes is super distracting.
  13. I know, I know. Another grey jet.
  14. Some textures are mirrored from one and are not sourced from the other at all. Its not a bug since 2.7 since its a model feature. The model hasnt been updated since 2019 so its definitely been like this for a long time.
  15. Thanks I'll give that a try.
  16. Do you guys happen to know the setting to turn Gaze completely off? Even if I set gaze limits to zero it still seems like it wants to track my eyes so the screen jitters around if my eyes move and try to focus on a specific thing in the cockpit. I've actually stopped using it because of this and reverted to TIR with a newly purchased wireless LED clip. I'd like to use the Tobii but the lack of focus and the fact that I can't seem to turn gaze off at all gives me headaches.
  17. Will there be a livery template to be made available for it?
  18. Track attached. LIghting.trk Yes noticed that too during my screenshot sesh this morning.
  19. I should specify that the first screenshot is from the Model Viewer. The second one is in game. I don't see how a track will help, but sure I can make one.
