  2. Did you try not dashing out the bort number lines and actually assigning something to them, along with the args values? Seems to be another difference I have in mine.

  5. No, because it would largely depend on the names of the texture files. Some people change them, some don't. You'd still end up with a huge chunk of liveries that don't work. Your best bet is to start over and dump all your liveries that don't work and redownload them if the original author took the time to update them. Is there a USN livery being loaded into your mission at the same time?

  8. Bumping this since we just had Bort number additions to the Hornet. Give me a reason to make my RCAF Hornet skins into a new version.
  9. I increased the scale of the base template in PS. Then used it in Gimp and started to revamp everything. I redid all the stenciling, redid some of the details. Its a lot of work to do. Unfortunately I will not share my template publicly. Its far too large by now and it is completely impractical to share.
  10. All my Hornet Liveries in the User Files have been updated to fix the bort number issue that showed up with the last patch. Cheers!
  11. Black means its in a format that DCS doesn't understand. Usually its because your dds file isn't square, IE 4096*4096.

  13. Its not really necessarily to have more, its to have all the things like weathering, rivets/lines, mechanical parts, stencils and base layers separated. You can always pop in to the Livery discord to chat about us skinner's rigorously obnoxious requirements.

  18. Not a roughmet issue at all. Its a color profile issue within the template. Its in CMYK instead of RGB or something to that effect.
  19. Modules that have ED made roughmets will not load speculars, even if the lines are in the lua. Also, attempting to load an old spec as a roughmet will not give you the desired PBR effect.
