We are humbled by your excitement and support,
Sincerely,
HB
And we are humbled by the dedication and years of effort your talented team has undertaken to create this iconic aircraft in such painstaking detail and to deliver a new benchmark in DCS.
That release video just had to be done and I'm glad it was the HB team (Adrian) that did it. You deserve to put your stamp on it like that.
Well done and thank you Team HB
This thing has a back seat as well???? :smilewink: .... and with all those buttons??
I'm 54. I'm going to be dead & buried before I finish learning this aircraft.
At least I'll die happy ........ Great job!!
LOL, yeah, I immediately thought the same same thing.
At the end of the day though, I'm always happy to take more realisim in DCS regardless of my own poor piloting skills. Gread addition
After having so much fun with the Yak-52 (waaaay more than I expected) and for $24.00, I'll be getting this one too.
looks like a lot of fun, especialy with a bit of Red Bull racing.
So a map of Southern England with the same level of detail as Normandy? I wonder if it will be linked with Normandy in some way so you can fly over both maps at the same time?
Didn't ED annouce they were working on a "Flaming Cliffs 4" release (my words not theirs - I can't remember what it was called) with a bunch of non-clickable aircraft (including dumbed dowm Mig 21) and cut down NTTR maped? What happened to that? Is it still in the pipeline?
I just got the wife to watch this .... twice!
Getting her "In the Groove" for me being busy for several months. :music_whistling:
Awsome video Adrian Caparzo!
Just had my first go with this and WOW, what a combat multiplier. Like having a missile firing turret bolted to the top of my aircraft!! Also provides much better SA when looking off centre. I especially like being able to see my speed at all times when in a hard turning fight. Brilliant.
Front view projection also seems to be a tad low for me too. When looking sraight ahead through the HUD it seems to be projecting about the UFC.
Great work ED.
Thank you for sharing this. Very impressive work.
I haven't been up in anything for the last month, so I'm not looking forward to my first few assessments. :smilewink:
If you (toggle) retract the undercarriage with weight on the wheels the undercarriage still retracts. This can occur while either stationary or rolling.
Surprisingly, the aircraft will eventually settle on its retracted undercarriage (without any prop strike occurring - just cuts through the ground) and you can still take off in this condition.
I'm just reporting the undercarriage retracting with weight on wheels issue here. Obviously there is a long way to go with the damage model, so the prop/ aircraft sinking into the ground/ no damage I'll put down to Early Access at this stage.
Found this on the Instant Action "Cold Start" and "Ready for Take-off" missions.
