  1. Ah, OK, that's heading hold.
  2. I understand what you want to achieve, just not sure it's the best way to fly with your stick. If you decouple physical stick and in game one, you run into risk of needing trim reset to get full control. I do agree that it would be nice if all axis tunning is transferred to new center point. OTH, I also feel that tunning is not really needed with high end extended stick like you have.
  3. Hover hold? It won't activate unless YOU activate attitude hold and it won't be active while holding FTR. Besides it's active only <5 knots. Try getting FPV on your landing spot and once real close try holding FTR. Yes you lose SCAS, but I found it a bit over-eager and sometimes fight with it. Once happy with your position release FTR. With FTR depressed I have no problems maintaining stable hover. One other benefit is that way you know your pedal servo has full range of travel available to maintain heading.
  4. OP, how much throw you have on your cyclic? I have 20 cm extension and it is nowhere near uncomfortable for general flying. Yes, cyclic is forward, but not that much. It looks like you would be happiest with Saitek X65.
  5. Don't worry, ED will fix it in #twoweeks
  6. Special options>MAN TRK ramp up speed
  7. They just did with that special option in settings, where you can set how much gain you want when holding the keybind.
  8. But, but, but, it's not how I think it must be, therefore it must be wrong?
  9. It's called ground stabilised and real Apache never had it. You have to establish manual track as best as possible, lase, engage LMC and correct as needed.
  10. Don't pull that much power that gives you 110+ knots?
  11. Why would you go LMC then IAT?
  12. I engaged a column that was moving in the open from right to left in SP. If I track manually (with slight wobble on TADS) every single missile would hit behind the column 100-150 meters. If I track with IAT, every missile hits its designated target
  13. I'll give Frosty benefit of the doubt in that maybe he posted that as a reference of all the people that think Lima is be-all-end-all-missile.
  14. Check settings in DCS and see that you get to 100% in game at full throw. This seems like calibration issue, where stick sends full input when it still has some throw.
  15. Also, if you are shooting at some target that is off the nose of the aircraft while you are moving or the target is moving, you have to apply lead.
  16. Great attitude to take you seriously from now on.
  17. What type of Hellfires you had? Lima's don't work currently with George, you have to go in front seat.
  18. I think it went down. Also hitting power got some boost
  19. Or you can just hold FTR
  20. If you binded FTR to up, then push it up
  21. I tried it too. Out of 8 RF missiles, only one hit different target in a group, when I did a 360 descent to mask. All others, where I masked with nose on target, hit designated targets.
  22. Try stick without springs and ffb trim option
  23. If you used same keyboard combination for both positions, go to CPG tab and check what happens when you press CTRL+V. If nothing happens, click on keyboard column and press restore to defaults. What's that got to do with AI menu?
  24. Can you record another track that shows engine instruments? To me, it sounds like rotor was spooled down? Also, create your own mission and test this, training missions are behaving weird sometimes.
