Cockpit Lighting Update

We've now finished re-implementing the basic night lighting system in the cockpit. For 2.5- we hope to include some more lighting features, such as individual warning lights influencing objects and afterburner glow visible in the cockpit.

We are also working on backporting various other visual features developed for future modules to the MiG-21bis. These will be migrated as time allows!

This basic system should be available in one of the next patches coming up.

Wow! The best looking cockpit in DCS, by far! :thumbup: With such lightning, I don't think my MiG will see much daylight. :D

I own all the modules except hawk and c101. Tell me which cockpit looks more real than the 21?

Loving the blending going on with the red back lights and the white light over the RV switch panel.

Also rather liking the nice little fluorescent detail on the stick!

Well, I interpreted this as there are new visual features developed for the Viggen or Tomcat, that can be re-used in order to update the current visual effects on the MIG.

And since there has been hints about new visual features for the Viggen I still consider my theory valid. Like in a new CRT renderer/shader for the radar scope or the HUD.
