Update of the Nevada Terrain

Its that time again for another update. Since everyone seems extra curious about stuff lately, I figured I would put out a small update. Since this is a slightly unplanned update, I'm going to keep things short but sweet. The following screenshots are of some completed buildings and and textures.

Naturally, not all of these are in their finished form, but please feel free to leave any comments and questions.

First off, we have the new runway textures:

Nice :thumbup:but runway, touchdown tyre ruts and control tower is too dark. I believe ruts too much moreover.

So what, that means that the theaters for DCS after A-10 will be Nevada and Georgia, right? Or have the theaters for DCS A-10 not been officially announced? I fed the GPS coordinates visible in the DCS A-10 screenshots into google earth, hoping to find Korea or something, but yea, it was just Georgia. :(

What I'd DIE for would be a DCS Afghanistan theater! If ED ever released a Mi-24 DCS module, it would be a great theater to launch it with for a historical campaign, though I don't particularly want the Mi-24. Afghanistan would be awesome with the A-10!

Officially and 100% nothing has been announced. But the current plan is to have the training in the Nevada area, and the game in the Georgia area. Although naturally wait for an official announcement for a solid answer.

looks like great texures! but Im sorry to say im not impressed, the terrain looks like this was LB2 and not the latest state of the art 2009... I hope it can develope to be much more.

Well, it's a work in progress after all. Thanks for the updates luckybob9. Thanks for your work on these. Can't wait for a future release.

I have to say I'm amazed that such a professional job can be achieved by amateurs. it looks fantastic. Looking forward to the finished product.

I have one question though, can those curved taxiway markings actually be curved?
