luckybob9 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Its that time again for another update. Since everyone seems extra curious about stuff lately, I figured I would put out a small update. Since this is a slightly unplanned update, I'm going to keep things short but sweet. The following screenshots are of some completed buildings and and textures. Naturally, not all of these are in their finished form, but please feel free to leave any comments and questions. First off, we have the new runway textures: Next off we have a couple of hangers: Next off, we have the wonderful Nellis Control Tower: And Lastly, we have some blast deflectors with some more lights: 2 Nevada map contributer EDM Modeling tools FAQ: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1418067&postcount=1 Seo libh a chairde is chanadh liom. HungaroJET Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Nice :thumbup:but runway, touchdown tyre ruts and control tower is too dark. I believe ruts too much moreover. Atop the midnight tarmac, a metal beast awaits. To be flown below the radar, to bring the enemy his fate. HAVE A BANDIT DAY ! Speed_2 Posted October 9, 2009 Posted October 9, 2009 Looks great so far, I can't wait to see the final version! So what, that means that the theaters for DCS after A-10 will be Nevada and Georgia, right? Or have the theaters for DCS A-10 not been officially announced? I fed the GPS coordinates visible in the DCS A-10 screenshots into google earth, hoping to find Korea or something, but yea, it was just Georgia. :( What I'd DIE for would be a DCS Afghanistan theater! If ED ever released a Mi-24 DCS module, it would be a great theater to launch it with for a historical campaign, though I don't particularly want the Mi-24. Afghanistan would be awesome with the A-10! arrogant, realism-obsessed Falcon 4 junkie

luckybob9 Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 So what, that means that the theaters for DCS after A-10 will be Nevada and Georgia, right? Or have the theaters for DCS A-10 not been officially announced? Officially and 100% nothing has been announced. But the current plan is to have the training in the Nevada area, and the game in the Georgia area. Although naturally wait for an official announcement for a solid answer. 1 Nevada map contributer EDM Modeling tools FAQ: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1418067&postcount=1 Seo libh a chairde is chanadh liom. wickedpenguin Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Awesome work guys. I'm looking forward to where this is going. On a side note, I was looking for a pic of the real Nellis tower to do a model-to-real comparison. Well, I found one, and look what happens to be sitting in front of it! ;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
