Whatever you drama queens. When is this damn thing getting released?

While work has continued at a steady pace during these internal issues, it goes without saying that we are now slightly short on manpower and time has been lost.

 

We are looking at several options for release windows. Do not expect a long delay from the previously announced release date.

 

WHAT!? But you said March 30th?!

At that time, no one expected something this big to occur and hinder our development progress.

We are committed to giving you accurate and realistic time frames.

 

It is what you deserve and what we should be held accountable for. We will see to it that this is the case in the future.

 

But, seriously, when are you releasing?

There will be more info on this soon. Promise.

 

LN not promise nothing release at 03/31. Otherwise, LN depend of ED approval and DCS: World versions release to release any module.

Oh, and before anybody says I'm talking because I did not invest money, NO!

 

I was a day 1 backer and actually have twice supported the project so we're all in the same boat. Lets not rock it or we'll all drown!

AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS

 

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

To be honest, even a pretty minor, small update, perhaps even just some in-progress screens would be a welcome thing, not talking about anything huge, not asking for dense, meaty updates on all aspects of the project (though that would be nice), just some screens or maybe a simple video taken during routine testing.

 

Just something to make our mouths water a little, nothing huge.

Last month Cobra said that "couple of months" is an exaggeration.

 

Estimating the time on software projects is not easy, but I don't know where the uncertainty comes from at this stage, and its a bit troubling. If I understand correctly, all the major components are pretty much done and are being tested and tweaked.

This is incredibly silly and rather surprising.

 

For the record, none of us have been spending much time on the forum -- because we're all very busy with getting the aircraft completely finished.

 

It has been stated multiple times that any new announcements of significance will warrant the creation of a new thread.

I thought we set a clear precedent with the separate mini-update thread, I was wrong.

 

Believe it or not, we are human. As humans, we enjoy interacting with the community on a personal level, at the same time throwing out tidbits of info or responding to questions, or just posting a relevant .gif.

Sorry to make your forum experience annoying for you.

 

After this thread has been cleaned up by Skate (and as always, a big thank you to the ED moderation team) -- moderation of OT will be more stringent in all threads.

You can't please them all and some people today have no manners. We are all looking forward to the Mig and take it from me way down here at the bottom of the world, we really appreciate all the hard work and hopefully you will enjoy some financial success when finished.
