I would like to thank the skin maker, going by the nick,"Mig- 21," behind creating the Bunny Fighter skin. I am very much looking forward to sim flying my Leatherneck Mig-21bis clad in the Bunny Fighter skin. :thumbup: I hope that you can add the drop tanks and missiles made to look like carrots! ::pilotfly:

I was glad to see this as well. All it needs is a screeching model sitting on the wings to stomp on my missiles before launch. Would be nice to see a weathered version as well.

Can I request an Indian Air Force (IAF) livery.

 

India had approximately 1200 MIG-21's in service since inception in the 1960s and the aircraft was only recently retired from service (Dec 2013).

This model does not feature the reflection properties like the P-51/F-86. Our bare metal textures are fine tuned to give a rugged used aluminum/titanium look that appeals to ED's shaders.

Not sure about other countries, but here in Poland, the only MiG-15s, 17s and 21s flying in super-shiny natural metal finish were the ones coming fresh from the factory. Later however, while going through the first major airframe overhaul, they were all given a protective coat of silver paint. Therefore, although I love glossy finishes, I admit a slightly "worn out" aluminum look is more "correct" for an ordinary, used plane with many hours clocked on it.

The German Democratic Republic however had upwards of 400 operational Mig-21's.
