AtaliaA1 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I have received these questions a number of times via PM, so I'll answer here: Q: Will you do a Ka-50 guide at some point? A: Yes. Q: When? A: I cannot give specific dates since my schedule got really really busy. Q: I mean, seriously... when? A: Currently, I have zero free time to work on it (job + master's degree + DCS testing). I don't expect to have anything released until at the very least 2016. Hmmmmm........ Sounds like we need to do a "Crowd Funded" Retirement package so you have more time. :smilewink: This was a Boutique Builder iBuypower rig. Ramsay Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Fantastic work as usual. I hope you'll find time to cover the free Su-25T and TF-51D for newbies. Learning about landing patterns, navigation, weapons employment, etc. for the first time has a steep learning curve with lots of info to take in and remember. Even for an 'old hand' it's sometime hard to find the correct basic info for a FC3 aircraft (Vr, Vne, fuel ranges, etc.) if I want to plan/fly semi-realistically. You have a 'knack' for distilling the important info from multiple sources and presenting it in an ease to understand way. I hope you'll consider these aircraft as well (if you haven't already). i9 9900K @4.8GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 11 Pro x64, Odyssey G93SC 5120X1440

Flycat Posted September 11, 2015 Posted September 11, 2015 Chuck, thanks for your guide. It seems MiG-21 could launch kh-66 at air to air mode, set the radar mode as the sarh missile and select weapon pylon like the rocket, like your guide said, and it could let the grom seek the air target like the other sarh aam.

Beeroshima Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 I guess more than JSGME itself, i was wondering about certain mods breaking things. But I suppose that will have to be tried on a per mod basis. I got it working and already installed a few. Thanks though.

Fakum Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I guess more than JSGME itself, i was wondering about certain mods breaking things. But I suppose that will have to be tried on a per mod basis. I got it working and already installed a few. Thanks though. So I have JSGME installed for the 1.2 version already, now that I also have the Beta 1.5 version installed (and wish to experiment a bit in the Beta),, what do I do to get it to work independently for both flavors of DCS? Fakum Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Ok, since I did not see any suggestions, I decided that it would seem logical to move my _MODS folder from the DCS World directory to the DCS World OpenBeta directory and then all I should have to do is change the target directory from "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World" to "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta",, seems logical,,, but I get this error now with the target directory duplicated, but its not duplicated in the shortcut Target entry line? Sporg Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 Ok, since I did not see any suggestions, I decided that it would seem logical to move my _MODS folder from the DCS World directory to the DCS World OpenBeta directory and then all I should have to do is change the target directory from "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World" to "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta",, seems logical,,, but I get this error now with the target directory duplicated, but its not duplicated in the shortcut Target entry line? My method is to install a JSGME for every game in its root directory. Then I rename each JSGME desktop shortcut to include the game name, ie. DCS World, DCS Openbeta, BMS 4.32 etc. That way I have a separate JSGME for each game I have it installed in.
