ED Team Wags Posted May 12, 2006 ED Team Posted May 12, 2006 Eagle Dynamics is now developing an A-10C desk top training for the Air National Guard. While not a retail product, I thought the implications would be of interest to readers here. SuperKungFu Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 I'm getting kinda confused is thebattlesim site part of ED or simply branching off to make their own progress, if so, i think that would be great that 2 teams are developing, one for western flavor or one for eastern. On the side note, its great we get a harrier AI but damn they should fix the old flyable models first. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
S77th-GOYA Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 unbeatable time to market Congrats, ED and good luck.
EvilBivol-1 Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 ...its great we get a harrier AI... Says who? ...is thebattlesim site part of ED or simply branching off to make their own progress... Speculating here, but ED owns the simulation engine (code), which can be used in various ways by various companies through various contractual agreements. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Starlight Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Eagle Dynamics is now developing an A-10C desk top training for the Air National Guard. While not a retail product Is it protected by Starforce? If it's not maybe USAF could copy it from ANG :D
JaNk0 Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Got to love the Hornets placed on the deck :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Depede Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Anyone read the press-release - Our good old pal, Carl "Stormin" Norman is program manager for TIS. Go, Carl :)
phant Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Where did you get those pictures? From this videos (TBS Part 1 - TBS Part 2) Bye Phant
ALDEGA Posted May 13, 2006 Posted May 13, 2006 Yeah, I found out. I actually tried downloading those videos before (they've been there for quite a while) but the videos were corrupted (problem with my network driver). The reflections in the Ka-50 cockpit are a nice detail. I might get a 6DOF TIR just for LOBS. It also shows something that looks like a sun-visor for the HUD, which can be enabled/disabled.
