I encounter on Facebook the "MysteryFX" studio simulation division dedicated page with name RED WING Simulations, that show some NH-90 goodies.

Nice, but as long as I don't see high quality avionic pictures, I'll assume this project is a hoax.

I see no relation or any smallest refferal to DCS. It could be e somebody who's having some 3D modeling fun time.

MysteryFX was mentioned as VEAO partner (or whatever) for their NH-90 project, which is now postponed indefinitely. Their renders were even a part of the official announcement.

It's very likely to be MysteryFx, just under a different name, even the facebook page has links back to them.

 

Plus, Charley Owl did some translating for us as part of VEAO's announcement they were dropping the project:

TL;DR: MysteryFx are planning on flying solo to bring it to DCS :)

The 3d models are pretty, but pretty 3d models are cheap. VEAO dropped this team because they (including VEAO) couldn't come up with the people to program the systems and flight model. I wish them the best but I don't have any expectation of this actually being released for DCS. I think they are also an FSX developer though, so it might find its way there if it hasn't already.

Hello guys, just a quick uptade. External model of the NH90 is done. We have start to work on multiple version like ALAT, Marine, Belgian, German and many more..We'll keep you informed during the next coming days

So what percentage is this aircraft actually done? Systems modeling, flight modeling ect. We've all learned over the years that the model is the easy part (Well, for most TPDs), but systems integration and flight model takes a long time.

Unkonow, but if RWS has made the Antisubmarine / antiship warfare properly in the simulator, I will pay for them. :thumbup:
