Will multi crew (online) be added in june? :)

Or is it working already?!

DCS Wishlist: 2K11 Krug SA-4 Ganef SAM, VR-TrackIR icons next to player names in score-chart

PvP: 100+ manual player-kills with Stingers on a well known dynamic campaign server - 100+ VTOL FARP landings & 125+ hours AV-8B, F-14 crew, royal dutch airforce F-16C - PvP campaigns since 2013

DCS server-admins: please adhere to a common sense gaming industry policy as most server admins throughout the industry do. (After all there's enough hostility on the internet already which really doesn't help anyone. Thanks.)

Dell Visor VR headset, Ryzen 5 5600 (6C/12T), RTX 4060 - basic DCS-community rule-of-thumb: Don't believe bad things that a PvP pilot claims about another PvP pilot without having analyzed the existing evidence

Not read this whole thread but has anyone mentioned the behaviour of the day vision camera and screen at night?

At the moment (in 1.5 at least), when using the day vision system at night you can see a lot detail on the screen with night vision goggles and less detail without.

In reality if the day vision camera isn't good in low light (i.e low sensitivity camera sensor) you would just see a light black/grey screen and a lot of noise at night (take your camera phone into an unlit location and you'll see, or rather you won't). Using NV goggles would make no difference to what the camera system is capable of resolving.

Not sure how modern the sensor is in the Viviane but only newer more specialist sensors can resolve any detail in the dark (e.g. the sensor in the consumer Sony A7s series.)

The night and IR view filters are part of DCS world, not this module and is ED's work. Additionally they said they would improve upon it in a statement of work earlier in the year.

Im not that well read on the SA-342 but my understanding was that irl the 342L was also able to carry the HOT missile (like the 342M)

and im wondering if we will ever get that ability for the 342L or if that capability will be limited to the 342M.

Since while yes the 342M has better optics etc it would still be interesting and fun to be able to use Hot-3s with the 342L (and its older systems and more basic optics etc) and that would also help with many scenarios as the 342L was much more common internationally and the Hot missiles seem to have been amongst its most common armaments.

...what about the unarmed version? The Civil one?

I would like a military version with no weapons or mounts, but with some seats in the back and the option to remove doors, with a sling load hook.

SA342 can basically only sling load a motorcycle

Without 500kg of Viviane camera, it can do a little better (largest Harley Davidson Ultra Glide is 439 Kg) but not by much as the max sling load of the SA-341G is 700 kg (1540 lb).

I think most people would like to test a lighter Gazelle and the added challenges sling loading brings. Whether it'll happen, will depend on the amount of dev time needed to add the feature and what else would be given up - if the focus is multi-crew and polishing the main features, is there the time and resources ?

I'm agree i would to see it with sling and no weapons

Makes me wary of additional bugs that a sling option may bring to the module if it requires fiddling with the existing FM.

Would be great to be able to eject eg. leave the aircraft. It's really an issue in SP when I can't spawn a new plane without killing myself. For example load mission -> tail brakes off on spawn -> reload mission again. :P

Also thinking about MP scenarios where we can rescue downed pilot's, if I can't get out on the ground nobody can script something 'to rescue pilots'... :P

Same prob with BST helis honestly. :)

Hello everybody

Thanks first to Polychop for super addon Gazelle. In my opinion by far the best helicopter simulation which is available at the moment for PC.

Now to my question: Will it be possible in the future to perform sling load operations with the Gazelle? possibly with a civilian variant?

Thank you for your feedback.

Were there any old files delivered for the build ?

The mistral is still rear aspect only, although it doesnt warp to space anymore.

*unexpected flight behaviour* Oh shiii*** ! What ? Why ? What is happening ?

I was wondering about if the Mistral was all-aspect now. Haven't got

To test yet but sounds like something may have gone awry with the patching. Is the crash of DCS still present when crashing the Mistral Gazelle?

Crashing should be gone. I know I've locked on and killed many KA-50's for the side's and back with this new version.

Ok thanks I'll do some testing on the latest build tonight and look into it myself. Thanks for the response!
