Hi all,

Why is the road network in Normandy accurate for 2017 and not for 1944? Some of the modern motorways are actually on the map, albeit as much narrower roads. Has this been addressed before?

I was hoping for a steady release of new ai units after the initial release. Even that didn't happen, so I guess ED has no time to work on WW2 right now. Maybe after 2.5 is out.
I am not sure ED is in charge of the models?

Wasn't Normandy and Assetpack done by UgraMedia?

Work on WW2 is still on going.

Yes, you're right and nobody denies it, but if I can afford it, as noted by other users, it's been six months without a significant upgrade for this map, which, in fact, remains in the same state as when it came out, and six months is a long time ...

For example, as a pilot of WW2 airplanes, I miss very much some of the typical effects of these machines like the trail of dust, debris, etc .. in the taxi phase rather than taking off / landing that greatly mortify the dive in the period ...

I don’t care who does them as long as they are delivered in a sensible timeframe. Six months is long time in my opinion. Whatever causes the delay, a little info about it would ease the waiting at least for me.

I absolutely agree with you, six months is a long time and the fact that leaves you perplexed is that there is no communication on the state of the work and it does not seem a good thing ...

I don't think we will realistically see any update prior to the release of 2.5.

Yes, but at the release of 2.5 is still missing more than a month and after they have released it will certainly be busy with this for the necessary fixes, etc ..., this means that Normandy will be further postponed, and if it goes well we talk more months later...

So if so, how many months have to pass because there is a substantial upgrade for this map, 8?10? ... It seems to me that a little too much of the patience is being abused of those who bought it....

I am so glad I didn’t jump in and buy the Normandy map. The lack of features, updates, and development of WWII aircraft is discouraging.

I've resisted visiting these issues for a while now but with 2.5 due for imminent release and as you've told us it is in the hands of a third party, not ED, perhaps they could be persuaded to comment.

That is up to them, I raised the concerns, but I am not sure how they are on the communication front.

Yes, I know it is also true that I bought it from the ED not from the third part and it should be the first to communicate the state of the progress of the development...

Instead apart from the October news where he said that work was underway for an upgrade that would be released as soon as it was not heard anything more, and it's been two months ....

Anybody flying 2.5 in the Normandy map? How does it look with new shaders? Downloading now.

Don't think there was a change. The last update before 2.5 made it very contrasty and it still looks like that.

Quick question and I'm not sure it's a bug (perhaps a side-effect of Deferred Shading): some tree trunks are colored in green, while others look correct. Has anyone observed something similar?

Things take time, I am sure there will be more news when there is news.

Did i miss any news in the last 4 months regarding this map? After all it' now out for nearly a year and it sadly changed for the worse with the 2.5 update.

No news that I know of. I think Ugra media has moved on.

The last news about WW2 map was 6 months ago:

https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3260871&postcount=112

Over 3D models only a new on the newsletters:

https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3294611&postcount=118

And now near 1 year after release, no more new or updates has appears. Waiting about map update, new features centred on WW2, 3D models "missing" and futures on develop and expected more about them.

I open a post to intent know the Ugla-Media team here:
