Very nice, also the lack of afterburner fire effect in the mig 29 has been fixed, they even added a little flickering effect to it. I love when ED adds these kind of little BIG things even not saying anything about them...nice work!!

Take a look at my MODS here

Agreed! It's the small details that go unannounced and sneak up on us that we tend not to appreciate. I am guilty of this also.

Intel i5-9600K @ 3.7GHz

Gigabyte Z370XP SLI Mobo

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2070 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6(Assume the latest driver version)

Thermaltake Water 3.0 Certified Liquid Cooling System

Windows 10 Professional

Oculus Rift-S /TrackIR 5 in case VR dies

Would be nice to be made aware of things like those small changes. A more thorough changelog would make me more confident in the work being done.

Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass.

Love the bumbing wings on the F5 while taxiing.

yeh, nice ! however i did not check it in the sim yet (i saw only in videos), so is that effect (what is not a wingflex but a dividual pilon(s) shake effect as i see) available only for client/player controlled aircraft or for AIs too ???

uses animation 280.

so Wingflex and Wing "Buffeting" are likely both in use by AI.

Just 2 different Argument Calculation strings.

Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2),

ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9)

so i that the official arg280 wingflex usage ? ..interesting

and all the AIs (with arg280 anim) use that effect while rolling on the tarmac ? and shaking winders on wingtips ? F-5 ? F-18 ?

does the Su-27 shake the R-73 on wingtip as well ?

must see that :bounce:

I dont know, it might be limited to the F-5 PFM.

But the AI uses 280 for Wingflex Already, applying a variable into the Argument Calculation string to create a Buffeting Effect would be easily done.

Work as I thought and wrote before: wingtip does not flex/bend with the wing (on tarmac). Wingtip shake/rotation got dividual animations as arg340 and arg341.

Wingflex got arg338 and arg339 but joint to wingtips as well. - if used as wingflex.

All arg-bone-anims mentioned above are unique animations so currently limited to F-5 as you wrote.

280 is used by all other AC w/ Wingflex, and used by AI,

Check AI Taxi though, the AI Animations Control might have been updated to match the Player's PFM.

F-5 is gonna be out if beta tomorrow.

An extremely optimistic me says that we'll get 1.5.5 stable tomorrow.

DCS modules are built up to a spec, not down to a schedule.

In order to utilize a system to your advantage, you must know how it works.

Adding to that: DCS 2.5 and the update of the Caucasus map are postponed untill after Nevada and Normandy are completetely finished and released.

Quote Vedexent: The technical term for an over ambitious ground attack pilot is "dead".

Quote SiThSpAwN: I figure 1.5 will have to buy some roses and chocolates, take 2.0 to a nice restaurant, and if it opens doors and is a gentleman, 1.5 and 2.0 might just get to merge one day.

So would that mean 1.5, 1.5 beta, 2.0, and Normandy as separate installations? I wonder why Normandy isn't delayed until the 2.5 release.

Hard not to be sad about the Hornet and 2.5, but looking at it positively, it will be nice to not have a distraction from the Spit and Viggen. As well as something to look forward to in 2017. :)
