Will we be seeing some more diversity for missions for this platform within Red Flag? Since unlike the F15C, the M2000C role is not strictly encompassed around a2a ( can employ some A2G ordinance) Absolutely. As French forces will simulate UAE Mirages (which in the alternative history of 2012 and war with Iran were never upgraded to the -5 variant) they will also be given various tasks, from CAP through ELINT and recon to ground attack. baltic_dragon Posted October 1, 2017 Author Share Posted October 1, 2017 Hello, I've been quiet for some time so I thought I'd give you a small update on where we are with regard to Red Flag. Not a video one this time as I simply didn't have time to put something together, but will try to do so pretty soon. The script for all the missions are ready - it is definite we will have 16 sorties: prologue, 14 combat missions in 10 days (usually each squadron takes part for two weeks but without flying in the weekends) and then an epilogue. Out of these I have voiceovers (getting which takes a long time) for 14 missions done already, 9 missions fully built and the rest in initial phase (so most of the stuff working, but no VOs added yet). All in all I am pretty certain I should wrap everything up in the next two months. I am trying to make each mission different and interesting - day and night sorties, ground attack with illumination flares, escort missions, interception, deep strikes etc. There will be an average of around 200 voiceovers per flight - with some relaxed chatter on the way to and from the AO giving you interesting stories from real - world Red Flags and background of the political situation in Strait of Hormuz (Red Flag was organised to prepare for a soon-to-come deployment there). What I might do after the release and when all the bugs are squashed (there always are some) to create a MP mission mirroring some of the events from the campaign.
