kontiuka Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Our programmer is investing some time to help with AFM. CC will take some weeks yet.Is the plan to release the CC first with SFM and the AFM will come later or is it possible the CC will be released with the AFM?
Jester986 Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Meh, of course AFM is preferred but the SFM isn't bad. I'd take the CC if it was ready first. But I think Vibora was saying it's taking longer because they're still coding the AFM.
Vibora Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 (edited) As we already said, whatever is finished first, will be released, AFM or CC. Edited January 18, 2018 by Vibora Roberto "Vibora" Seoane Alas Rojas [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Winterz Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Cant wait to fly the C-101 with a proper fm, tired of the SFM on rail thing!
FraserNZL Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Don't worry lads just one more year to wait..... sorry couldn't help myself 2
NeilWillis Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Don't worry lads just one more year to wait..... sorry couldn't help myself A little juvenile don't you think? Aviodev are working hard, and all you can do is poke fun? Does your boss at work treat you this way? If he does, maybe it is time to find a new job!
FraserNZL Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Hey mate I'll poke fun if I like. I understand that they are working hard on this project. I've supported them since it first went on sale 4 or 5 years ago. Its the only trainer I've bought for DCS and have gotten a few mates to buy it over the other trainers. Its abit of a joke ok don't take it so hard
splash Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 I thought that C-101CC was passed to ED for beta testing in december and using SFM.

some1 Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 I thought that C-101CC was passed to ED for beta testing in december and using SFM. Yeah, but these things go in parallel, so whatever is finshed first, will be released. A little juvenile don't you think? Aviodev are working hard, and all you can do is poke fun? Does your boss at work treat you this way? If he does, maybe it is time to find a new job! In real life, if you were 3 years late with the job you were paid in advance, you would be very grateful if your boss was "just" poking fun from this situation. 1 Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro
kontiuka Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 Well, I just hope this is the year we get the CC and EFMs for both planes. I don't care if things aren't absolutely perfect at release but I do want to fly with a real flight model and blow scrit up.
Cnuke Posted January 19, 2018 Posted January 19, 2018 (edited) The model and cockpitsystems are great and it shows some passionate work and dedication. Well the flight model has to be good hence the standard of ED/BST/Purchasers/community. I have faith it will be great and prefer they take the time for it's quality. Hopefully everyone can support/help to get this mi casa es tu casa in the DCS awesome 'flightmodels' stable. All the best!:pilotfly: Edited January 19, 2018 by Cnuke

Nero.ger Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 can the gunsight be disabled on the CC-Version? 'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction.
kontiuka Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 can the gunsight be disabled on the CC-Version?what do you mean by disabled?
Nero.ger Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Dismounting it like in the L-39. so you can have a clear vision to the front 'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction.
Schmidtfire Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 L-39 can dismount sight on the C version only, not the light attack ZA. So quite similar: The C-101EB has clear front without a sight. CC "light attack" version has a mounted sight. No need for further options as you can fly C-101 with or without a sight, just like L39.
Vibora Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 Correct. It's as Schmidtfire says. You can dismount the camera recorder to get a better view to the front. And you can also dismount the gunsight sun filter, but not the whole sight. That wouldn't be realistic. Also, it wouldn't make sense to fly an attack airplane without the aiming device, except for basic flight training but that's not a procedure IRL. Roberto "Vibora" Seoane Alas Rojas [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Nero.ger Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 You can dismount the camera recorder to get a better view to the front. And you can also dismount the gunsight sun filter, but not the whole sight. yes like in the ZA. i agree my post was not very precise mixed up sight/Guncamera  'controlling' the Ka50 feels like a discussion with the Autopilot and trim system about the flight direction.
