Will the pilot become patches on his uniform? Looks little empty now .

Really miss the classic mirage 2000 patch (see my signature picture) that we had in the previous pilot.

I use the same X56 Rhino HOTAS, as those officer students. They appear to be already commissioned officers in ground phase of basic flight school. Or this is a pre-entry screening and evaluation phase , prior to being accepted into flight officer program.

 

I cannot say that I am 100% satisfied with X56, but it has proven itself to flexible and adaptable to various types in DCS. Stable drivers. But it does take 2 months or longer to break-in the Stick portion. Initially the non-newtonian fluid in fresh throttle, is heavy, but it loosens up and stabilizes after couple of weeks. However the throttle should be warmed up prior to use by working the throttle from min to max and back a few times. Once the user finds a comfortable mix of throttle friction interaction with fluid, it is comfortable to use. The throttle won't move when hand is left on it. The funny thing is that primary market for Rhino HOTAS is not flight sim, but space combat sim/games like Star Citizen.

I no longer have a pilot body anymore with the mirage. I assume it’s because the team are implementing the new pilot.
