Hello all :)

 

Yes, we are still here and we're still alive. I apologise for the lack of updates, real life has not been too kind to members of the team over the last few months. I am currently in the process of writing up a more 'proper' update for release in the near future but for now I just wanted to assure everyone that we're still around and development is continuing. In the meantime I will continue to monitor this thread and answer questions people may have about the mod.

 

Thanks again to you all for your enthusiasm and passion for the MiG-25, we do not want to disappoint!

Concerning community plan. Guys, Facebook is totally messed up. I.e. I haven't logged in for some time and now I find my account deleted -- and there's even no one to ask (and even the possibility of asking isn't there). It's definitely the wrong platform for community to track this mod and this team. Probably the wrong-est one out there, considering its policies in different areas.

 

Why not make it to the Nexus? They have a mod tracking and deployment tool, a forum for announcements, mod tracking feature, easy catalogue through categories and a whole lot of other important mod related features (like mod cross-dependancy check). Also it would be nice to be able to mod DCS like (through the same process) any other game out there. At the time there are only two mods (one of which isn't actually even a mod) on DCS page, which is just sad, knowing how many good mods for this game exist and how many of these are lost in the bowels of this forum.

Well, there's still some elections happening somewhere plus the facebookening of Oculus is still happening as well. It's natural at such times that teh ZUCC does ban random people by weird algorithms and the company then states it was totally valid. Using such a platform for information purposes isn't exactly the best idea in the first place.
