Really? DCS was presented on 2011, yet they were already 4 year into bringing a Viper module?

From 2008:

(the Mi-24 is still supposed to be released after the F-16 as of today biggrin.gif)

As for after DCS: Black Shark, work continues on other aircraft modules. Although these are certainly works in progress and hardly complete, I have attached a few development cockpit images of the F-16C and Mi-24.

No, it's the same project. They just adjusted the version that they are going to model.

Unless you want to say we're getting two F-16s

You can’t model a 2007 F-16C in 2008. They are two different projects.

You can't do that indeed, but you can change your project when it's still in development.

While some art initially started years ago, we had to throw out that initial work out due to changes in the engine and staffing. The project re-started from scratch with art starting in October of last year, and flight model and systems starting in April of this year.

As you can see, progress has been rapid, to say the least.

Thanks

So the viper is your priority?

While I don't care so much about F-16, yet I pre-purchased it because I want it out quickly so Mi-24P gets rolled out....

We don't have one priority, we have several teams focusing on different projects: Hornet, Viper, Super Carrier, dynamic campaign, MAC, etc.

Very impressive !

but how many people work on each project?

How is that relevant? The people needing to work on different parts of the project are different. I'm sure the FM guy's aren't working on the hornet since that part is done. They are likely working on the Viper, and then the mi24. Meanwhile the weapon and avionics guys are working on the F18 it since those parts aren't done. And then probably adapting what they can to the F16 it since those parts aren't done either.

OP you've asked the same question @ deka sub forum... are you comparing which one is faster developing a feature complete module? haha
