Pikey Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 I think whatever it is, it won't melt my brain or be surprising. And if I keep thinking like that, then when the F-15C hit the shelves I can take a pass and embed myself into the Warbirds this year as I'm all done with American fighters, as nice as they are. But If a Mig-29K carrier compatible module was announced I'd probably spontaneously urinate and offer my virginity to Putin. It's probably the most beatiful airframe ever designed. A Gripen would be a surprise but quite out of place and I'd rather the new announcement had a contemporary. Silver_Dragon Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 (edited) F-4 and AH-1 has "on hold" talked by Wags. I dont expeced any FC-3 aircrafts convert on "Hardcore" module, by the "russian goverment" problem and actually none of "russian" fighters has talked as plausible on russian forums. A-6 I think has more plausible being buildind by Heatblur, not ED. My Bed: - AH-64A by the "old" list talked some years ago by ED (the old list with the Hornet, viper and hind) and some pics in the past, by a Western adversary vs the incoming Mi-24P on develop. - F-111 has one of more "claimed" modules in the shadows.... - About WW2, remember missing the Me262, on research info, but not bad if ED can build a "ju-88/A-20" to match with the Mosquito and some carrier borne fighter/bomber to Pacific Theatre. Othes can be a P-38, Ju-87, Me262 and some british aircrafts by The Fighter collection. Would be a big surprise (might even melt someones brain perhaps) and would fit the Marianas map. I hope it's not fly-by-wire, but i'm not sure if a redfor carrier aircraft without FBW does even exist... bies Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 There were two RedFor carrier capable planes FBW Su-33 and conventional MiG-29K.
Pikey Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 This is same thing I've been saying elsewhere. I doubt Ed would do that, it could render both the -c and -e unprofitable for both developers. Here's a possibility I haven't seen elsewhere but with Pacific islands and f4u on the way, Japanese ww2 acft makes sense Having f15 being brought out of fc3 is low hanging fruit for Ed It's not low hanging fruit, all you need to know about growing fruit is in watching the development of the F-18C radar over the last... um, 18 months? Post EA release? And still no A2G or AZ/EL, or HMD A2G designations or bump targetting, and its a bit wonky too at the moment. ED have a better idea on what sells and why than we do and in some parallel universe the F-15C makes a lot of sense, despite, the E dev and the FC3 version with its 5 standard button modes and easy keyboard. I just pray it's a red fighter, against all the odds and the talk about being unable to do one is not valid after the Swiss office opened a year or two back. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *

bies Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Variant for India from year 2009 has FBW, but this is totally impossible for DCS.

bies Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 We can savely forget about the whole plot with MiG-29K. I've read a bit, original variant equals two prototypes. Later variant is 40 fighters for India produced in 2009 and 20 planes for Russia in 2016. Totally impossible. And the whole plane is super low serie. So it has to be something else.
Harlikwin Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 Hey I’d buy the Phantom. My only point is that while there’s a lot of passion for it among enthusiasts I don’t think it has much appeal for a more casual audience. It’s not a Viper or Hornet blockbuster. I don’t know if that’s why ED shelved it or not, just a general impression I have. I’m hoping its a modern Russian fighter. This literallly has to get done to keep the game healthy. And if I had my personal pick I’d want ED to branch out into the logistics and special ops roles. C-130 would make me giddy. CH-47, Mi-26, M/AH-6 also. At the same time, ED has done the "blockbuster" jets and people are now a bit burned out on them. IDK, I want either the F4 or a Su-27/mig-29 New hotness: I7 9700k 4.8ghz, 32gb ddr4, 2080ti, :joystick: TM Warthog. AegisFX Posted February 5, 2020 Posted February 5, 2020 I'd much rather have a solid su33 to match the Hornet for naval warfare before another blur plane. If its blue, I'd be ok with the f111! RU has a bunch of bombers but blue doesnt have much other than the 117, b1b, and b52.
