Tom Kazansky Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Everything is free for a month!? Am I understanding that correctly? Not everything but a lot
Tom Kazansky Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 When I look at 2:06 min on YT there are 2 seconds black followed by a MiG29. Did they cut out what you saw as a Flanker or am I missing something? SU-27 Flanker? Maybe a hint? :joystick: @2:06

VirusAM Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Nick Grey said in a new interview with Grim Reapers that this module is being developed by the F/A-18 and F-16 team. I think this might rule out the Apache, since that one, being rotary wing, would likely be developed by the Hind team. Makes me optimistic for Fulcrum or Flanker again. :music_whistling: I listened to the whole interview and I cannot remember anything like you wrote. The one thing I remember is he saying that can stay for maximum 15 minutes because he had a skype call with Wags, Sasha (and others) regarding the top secret module and the development of f18/f16 R7-5800X3D 64GB RTX-4090 LG-38GN950 N/A Moza AB9 FFB Base + Moza MH-16 Grip, VKB Stecs Max, VKB T-Rudder MKV, Razer Tartarus V2 Secrets Lab Tytan, Monstertech ChairMounts
VirusAM Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 Well, i have read the entire thread. Must have missed it. Nevermind. I don’t remember neither this one. They only said that it will be a modern complex aircraft. But helos are also aircraft. I still hope it won’t be an helo R7-5800X3D 64GB RTX-4090 LG-38GN950 N/A Moza AB9 FFB Base + Moza MH-16 Grip, VKB Stecs Max, VKB T-Rudder MKV, Razer Tartarus V2 Secrets Lab Tytan, Monstertech ChairMounts

If I understood him correctly, Shasha is the boss of these 3 projects. And given that we know that Hornet and Viper are developed by the same team, I think it´s pretty evident that this is not another team.

No, it's a Mig-29, my mistake. :) IF this new eagerly awaited jet is a Mig-29, I hope they choose the K variant, which is carrier capable. That would seem logical since the SC comes with a new Kuznetsov.
Kang Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 ...or perhaps a MiG-29 (and a Su-27) is simply in the video because it's an available FC3 module and thus part of the free trial? Not everything is a conspiracy.

E.D. may as well get as much value for money / as many modules as possible from the code base they've developed for US aircraft. Cheers.

E.D. may as well get as much value for money / as many modules as possible from the code base they've developed for US aircraft. Well, that got discussed many times now. I personally find it rather unlikely, because they would directly compete with RAZBAMs F-15E (even if they are very different planes). And already having three other teen series fighters, the F-15 might be eagerly awaited, but for sure not brain melting.

Ikaros Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 Eagle Dynamics give us more hints. Give us a sign! Us humble customers, we bow our heads and await your bountiful gifts! Will you give us the whirlwind of the Apache? The thunderous flames of the glorious F-111 in all its wicked beauty? The fanciness and range of the Super Hornet? The scream of the F-15C Eagle? Will you blind us with the magnificence of the F-117 or F-22? The Soviet might of the Su-27/MiG-29? I can only take so much, I must know! :helpsmilie:

Not everything is a conspiracy. Wasn't there somewhere quote that ED is purposely avoiding (modern?) russian jets as it is their country of origin and their government would be somehow unhappy should they do so (and thus they leave them to the 3d parties)? Are they trying to "Bring balance to the Force"? Then some more modern Fox3 capable russian fighter/bomber would be needed. But will they do it? If they'd like to use the best of their modules, than F-15C is good candidate. And as long as we talk about jets, then from the past you have almost unlimited choices that would be interesting. Tornado? Jaguar? F-1xx? Phantom? And list of the russian planes - attack, fighters, interceptors. Oh, can someone imagine the fun with one of the true bombers? Tu-22?

Tom Kazansky Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 It is a FF Shenyang J-11J15b ;) Isn't the J-15 a Su-33 "based" fighter and the J-11 a Su-27?
Kang Posted April 22, 2020 Posted April 22, 2020 Just because I feel like it, I'm going to say Dassault Super Étendard.

Kang Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 Oh, please, like it hasn't been that by page four already. At this point it's just 'random aircraft' and weird debates on why somebody else's pick isn't as awesome as one self's. Well, and maybe the 'you know what, nobody ever thought of a Su-27 yet!' every other page.
Tomas9970 Posted April 23, 2020 Posted April 23, 2020 I have decided to take the list posted earlier and sort it to rule out certain things. Gierasimov Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Given the recent discussions around projects pipeline and roadmap for current modules, I now feel that the 'secret project', is still not decided upon in terms of what it will be, and that, coupled with when it would be possibly started makes the announcement wait less exciting now. Well I certainly hope that's not the case, because it's really messed up to tease us like that and then make us wait potentially a year or even more.
