Fsea Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 (edited) Hi: I have watched the quick start video released by Matt Wagner. https://www.youtube.com/user/wagmatt/videos I think that compared to the wallpaper of other modules, the wallpaper of Supercarrier is a bit rough and ugly. So I want to ask if it is possible to replace it with a more beautiful wallpaper before release Edited May 12, 2020 by Fsea
Gladman Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 I for one could care less about the wallpaper and will be more than happy to have ED spend their time on the module itself. i9 9900K @ 5.1Ghz - ASUS Maximus Hero XI - 32GB 4266 DDR4 RAM - ASUS RTX 2080Ti - 1 TB NVME - NZXT Kraken 62 Watercooling System - Thrustmaster Warthog Hotas (Virpil Base) - MFG Crosswind Pedals - Pimax 5K+ VFA-25 Fist Of The Fleet [sigpic]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic99190_2.gif[/sigpic] Virtual Carrier Strike Group 1 | Discord

draconus Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Looks like tilt-shift photo - bad effect for huge carrier and not realistic looking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miniature_faking Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

Tom Kazansky Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Most interesting thing of that screen is the icon in the lower right corner ;)
Tholozor Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 That's just the icon for TacView. REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
RaisedByWolves Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 It’s still better than Heatblurs wallpaper of an F-14D.
Greyman Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 (edited) It'll probably just be a placeholder, for the purposes of the mini-update video, and another image will be included for the released version. Edited May 12, 2020 by Greyman
VampireNZ Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 Happy to d/l the SC module and keep my current Mi-24 Wallpaper  Vampire

=4c=Nikola Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 Looking at the wallpaper I wonder whether anchor is animated. Do not expect fairness. The times of chivalry and fair competition are long gone.
Beetle Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 I was just looking for the .img/.png/jpeg (etc.) file to see if it can be replaced, but no luck so far. VNAO, CVW-14, VFA-146.
dmatt76 Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 (edited) You can replace any wallpaper and any music theme with your own. They are just png and ogg files in a folder. You even have option to have your own module theme which wont be erased after updates. There are tons of guides how to do it. Edited May 20, 2020 by dmatt76
