I think i would have some fun to fly with UH-60 "Blackhawk". You could make some thrilling missions where you need to pick up infantry soldiers in serious trouble and bring them back to base. Or transport some equipment to ground troops like jeeps, howitzers and stuff like that. Many possibilities to have. Question is. Is the engine capable of all this...

I would Like to see a something from EU flying, Like Harrier or, Mirage. sick of Russian and American birds.

Is there any information on Harrier or Mirage2000?

ED should listen to this. I think there are many who feel the same.

I wish....

That a "Commo Check" could be added to each object in the radio menu. Upon activation, if your radios were properly configured, then the receiver (tower, wingman, ground crew) would reply with "Roger, out".

add "hold/stop_for_timeXY" function to waypoints of groundunits in the ME.

add "hold/stop_till_trigger" function to waypoints of groundunits

add a "continue" trigger function, so you can release the units from the hold/stop position by trigger...

would be great for generating more dynamic/realistic missions...

For the trimming of the aircraft [t] key - it'd be nice to have the option to press and hold the [t] key while releasing the controls rather than punching it and letting go quickly (which can cause transient bobbing about).

Trimming is a big part of Black Shark so this would actually make a real difference to flying the sim.

My wish for MP is a limited respawn, like the grouprespawn in Armed Assault. The Game lose the tactical element with multiple respawns. When i known, i have only 4 Helicopters for my mission to success, so i flying more carefully. And its also one more step to simulation than to arcade. :smilewink:

The second wish is maybe not possible.

When i activated some Flightgroups via trigger, then the game freezes for a second or two. Is it possible to preload this flightgroups for to activate without the freezes? :helpsmilie:

The third wish is the option to secure(password) own missions in the editor. This makes impossible to show downloaded missions in the editor first.:smartass:

ok enough so far, oh and sorry for my bad english. :music_whistling:

  • fix: AI can't reload during mission http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=34604 Another example of possible robust solution.
  • option to change HUD font + size
  • affinity set to every core by default on Vista or an option to choose affinity (i.e.config file)
  • investigation - isn't it close to take advantage of dual cores under Win XP?
  • option to get full number of trees on scenes level set to medium
  • OpenAL support
  • OpenGL support and primitive installer (or no installer) to finaly make it work under Linux

Only the last two are not strictly related to BS.

Just remember, the aircraft is trimmed when you release the 'T' key, not when it's pressed.

It'd be nice to have the option of it starting trim when pressed so that while the t key is pressed the controls do nothing. The release of the "t" key would then indicate the neutral position of the controls. This would minimise any wobbling while resetting the controls to neutral. If it does this currently I'm doing something wrong (quite possible).

To AlphaOneSix, do you reset your controls rapidly or slowly while holding the "t" key down? I haven't had much success in resetting them slowly while holding it - the helicopter lurches while I'm resetting the controls (if I just hit/release the "t" button the helo also lurches while I'm resetting the controls). I've only just started flying recently though so it may just be that I need more practice.

I have the trim key mapped to a button on my joystick. They way *I* use it is to hold down that button while moving the controls, and when I'm done, I release the button, then let the joystick return to center (I don't just let it go, but I'm fairly quick about it).

Some have also programmed their trim button with a small delay (like 3 hundredths of a second) so they have more time to center their stick.

BlackShark is unfriendly to limited user accounts

Hello,

I really like this simulation but I have one complaint. I'm using my Windows XP copy as a limited user (i.e. not with Administrator rights). Therefore, DCS:BlackShark is unable to write in its own Folder under C:\ProgramFiles. I had to manually adjust the permissions of files and folders in the BlackShark folder using ProcessMonitor. This was quite a surprise for me, as all the other recent games I own are programmed in a way so that they create their temporary and user specific files in the C:\Documents and Settings\%user% folder hierarchy and therefore don't need administrator rights.

So, EagleDynamics, please consider making your future games limited user account friendly.

Thanks

First of all why would someone install DCS on system partition  Second - is it only me who thinks installing application should be avoided? In the case of DCS only starforce installation is necessary. What is driving software devs so they want to mess with the user's system so much? I'm just curious.
