Besides the awesome looking new 3D models of the bombers  is anyone willing to speculate the possible usage that these may carry in the future? Am I the only one daring to say the possibilities into a world map? Don't ask me how I got there. My mind works awkwardly at time and especially on a Friday! 😅

As much as I'd love a spherical, world map, I doubt these are related, given that these have been in DCS and its predecessors for 20 years now.

With that said, it looks like the B-52H has been upgraded to a 2000/2010s version (as opposed to what I assume is a 90s version).

I had wondered about the slow updating of the AI 3D models, but after seeing the screenshot, I was convinced. With this quality, it's no wonder it takes so long. I'm eagerly awaiting the release.

Forgive my ignorance, but where did you find screenshots of the AI bombers?

I only see the S-3 first impression images (they look great!). Did ED also share images of the B-1B and B-52 somewhere?

S-3 has none dedicated tanker variant, has only a normal S-3 with a refueling pod.

There really shouldn't be a separate S-3B tanker variant, it's exactly the same aircraft equipped with a D-704 buddy store.

EDIT: Just seen your above reply, it almost certainly will, they just need to add a high-quality D-704. Though I hope in the future we have a unified variant, with the D-704 as a loadout option.
