For players who only bought Channel map they pay $49.99+$14.99=$64.98 for Normandy 2 map and Channel map.The difference is $104.97-$64.98=$39.99.Equivalent to they bought DCS: Normandy 1944 map with $44.99-$39.99=$5.

On sale,Normandy map -50% and Channel map -30%.
For players who had bought Normandy and Channel map they pay $22.495+$34.993+$9.99=$67.478 for Normandy 2 map and Channel map.
For players who only bought Channel map they pay $34.993+$14.99=$49.983 for Normandy 2 map and Channel map.The difference is $67.478-$49.983=$17.495.Equivalent to they bought DCS: Normandy 1944 map with $22.495-$17.495=$5.

Idk, this doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me (as someone who owns Normandy 1944 and the Channel). I think the argument can definitely be made that if someone doesn't own any WWII maps, they should skip right to Normandy 2. I'd also add that we don't actually know exactly how this map will develop over time. Urga has expanded Syria multiple times, even adding in additional airfields within the previous boundaries when they have done so (e.g. Rosh Pina). The area of the Channel map is covered by Normandy 2, even if airfields are absent from the early access version. I wouldn't be surprised if at least some of these were added in a future update to the map, which does make the Channel map somewhat related to Normandy 2, even if the extent to which this is the case is initially limited.

If you bought the two maps originally, you thought they were worth paying for. If it turns out that was not the case, then that's not ED's fault.

As to the purchase price of the map, I think it's fine. The rollout has been a bit confuddled, but $10 to get London and Paris is just fine with me. No complaints about the price at all.

I really hate the word "unfair". People never talk about what´s unfair when they benefit from something, only when they see someone else get a little bit of something they didn´t. It´s basically the word for jealousy. How is it unfair though? People who bought the Normandy 1 map, have had the access to use it.. why that doesn´t count? And if it´s not fair.. why should it be fair? The only thing to consider for the devs is to make a decision regarding a balance between what customers are willing to pay, and getting compensated properly for their work. They aren´t doing it for charity. It´s actual work, a lot of it.

Reading and understanding was a prerequisite for posting. You simply did not point out any unfairness. So I'm still left with the question, what is unfair here?

If we go back to my post I think I clearly explained that the map is being given away nearly for free to a few sets of people. Those people made the choice to purchase different maps in the past, maps that they thought were worth purchasing at the time. I don't see any problems.

Ridiculous logic.I haven't bought South Atlantic map,so ED should give me a greater discount for compensation since players who bought it have enjoyed it for a while?
