Contacting ATC does not work anymore with communication menu using easy comm

I use easy-comm option, and since one of the last updates it doesn't work anymore to contact anyone when bringing up communication menu via "/" or corresponding keybind. Is it a bug or do I have to switch something on before? I usually make start from ramp or park position with engines on.

You have to use microphone switch on the throttle for radio comms.

General "/" comm menu is for ICS/ground crew only now.

Maybe you can still disregard the freq and mod, I didn't test.

I think it was a core DCS change a few patches back. Think it’ll still auto-tune?  Just have to use actual radio selection though.

Yeah, I remember a lot of questions about that earlier and didn't realize it was a core change since I never use it

Ok thanks, it's keybind "mic switch forward" that brings on ATC & Wingmen communication menus now.

I think Easy Comms should just get removed from the game. It's confusing a lot of people and thus is doing more harm than good.

Obviously it's their default and only comms/radio mode, so additional option is not needed for them.

Not true. FC3 (and mods) work fine even without Easy Comms enabled.

Radio Menu don't change.

Not in easy mode

I have my radio in AM mode

I use microphone on the throttle

I ask to the ATC startup I ear ATC answer but then the radio ATC menu still in ask for startup...the ATC menu don't change...

This is known DCS bug.
