With that many bugs fixed I hope the teams are running out and can switch to adding more new stuff soon. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little bit disappointed in the lack of new stuff but as someone who develops stuff I understand and appreciate it nonetheless.

Big thanks for fixing the F10 FoW bug for combined arms!

that still doesn't explain it.
MB = Mega Bytes
mb = Mega bits
the RAM is already at 16GigaBytes, not 16GigaBits. So actually need to multiply it by 8 to get your GigaBits, i.e. 16x8 = 128GigaBits
why am I typing this...
Yeah, yeah. I did read your response above. mb will be millibars though.

I’m getting more lag since the update on MP. Don’t know why but in the Pony my brakes are acting as if someone turned up my curves. I checked them and they’re set as they were. Tyres are sunken into the taxi-way too but I’ve seen it now and then before. Now it’ seems it’s every time.

Still have a gas pilot light on the Merlins.

Like the prop-wash though.

But it was not in the update so why did you mention it?

The effect is great and much needed. The more realism the better. DM will be improved too.

Mention what that the units under trees still cant be killed with this effect in place ??

The effect is great but there is no realism attached to it if units under the trees cant be killed, its just eye candy for now

So what? I'd like to see this fixed and also new ATC, Vulkan, AI GFM, FF F-15C but you know what? They didn't push it in this update.

Performance it seems to me lower with 2.9.4.53549

At least with the F-18, I have in VR an average of 1,5 ms more (from 7.8 ms to 9.4 or 9.5...)

Anyone noticed this?

Yes I witnessed the same. It's a bit lower with 2.9.4. Nothing else though (stutters or bad artifacts)

Hiob did a test and saw no difference. Subjectively it feels smoother to me in VR but no change in frame times or FPS.

My test is pancake though. Generally that should translate to VR, but there could be additional factors. So take it with a grain of salt.

Good point. I should have looked more closely!!

VR does seem to be running better for me though.

Loving the new landing gear physics for the P47 and the Mustang. Feels spot on to me. Very smooth handling overall. Would it be possible to fine-tune the Mossie and the spit to the same level? They feel very stiff and bouncy in comparison, mostly the tailwheel.

Mosquito was first to get new gear model in Dec 2023.

You might want to continue by reporting bugs in the appropriate Bugs & Problems subforums for the modules.

Does the moving terrain work with WW2 weapons? I don't see any trees move as my bombs and rockets hit in the tress. Or it it the Channel map that is missing something?

Im aware of that. Its certainly not a bug. Mossie feels rough in comparision to the P47. May need a little tuning in the same direction. But thats only me. It could be spot on.

A simplified flight model, it was creating problems and the best option was to disable.

thanks

That setting could be scraped altogether in DCS, for the sake of also easing and simplifying development.

If a person cannot fly a Viper, there is no hope for them.  The FBW system in that jet makes it so primitive a chimp could fly it in real life from BLK 25 on.  Ditch the simplified model for this bird and save it for something that had analog flight controls.

Well chimps are far stronger than humans so they have an advantage in using the FSSB stick that requires 27lb of force to get full aft deflection
