To be honest I think DCS should sit down and have a board meeting. 

And talk.

IMHO , waiting six weeks for patches isn't good in my opinion. 

Especially if that patch isn't a good one . Let's have a working and stable platform to introduce flight modules.

I agree with the first part, but for a different reason. It can't be normal for every patch to be delayed. It shouldn't be, and stuff like this is what turns people away and they los customers

We read this a lot here, but I highly doubt it. DCS folks are highly addicted, and there are virtually no alternatives if you are anything else than a dedicated Viper pilot. I claim 99.9% of the very vocal people will stay and continue buying modules. The ones who really leave are not really interested in DCS anyway.

First was "We dont like beta version 15-20 days patch but has unstable and need to wait to Stable to fly". Now "We dont like Stable version but need wait excesive time and has blocking bugs with need delay them"....

The first rule to enjoying DCS is to never ever jump on any hype wagons. It is a complete waste of time to be "waiting" on a new module while there are already so many you can enjoy right now. Don't anticipate on planned release dates because we know that everything is subject to change.

On the remarks about the professionalism of ED.. it is actually very simple. Software development is uncertain. You can either have a flexible scope or a flexible timeline but you cannot fix both. Both are equally professional approaches.

This is why a lot of people are pissed, as they really have no alternative and just have to suck down whatever happens.......its frustrating to be in that situation for many people ......plainly some others dont care one bit how they are treated by people they spend their no matter what happens....

I have to admit, I don't remember ever seeing a new module released without some sort of sim update/patch at the same time.

The notes on DCS World simulator, coming with the patchs... all modules required a patch, not viceversa. And all modules release, require a patch.

When the news of the delay broke I just thought "Oh well, an extra  day to learn from the manual." Then I started reading some of the replies on here and for some reason this got stuck in my head...
