fixed Launcher keeps resetting some settings

As in the topic. When I use the new launcher the game defaults to these two options each time I start it. It does not happen when the launcher is switched off.

I can confirm this. It changes the config as you press launch i.e. not when you just open the launcher.

Yes. It is always switched off when using the launcher.

Yes, the hook dissapears after restart... Same for 'Hide Control Stick'.

Yes, the mirrors option was unchecked for the very first time unless I checked it, and the check will stay (as my screenshot shown) for the next time with/without launcher.

Maybe the "Gameplay" tab could be added to the launcher's options tab. As a VR user who regularly switches to pancake for mission editting, I'm very happy with the launcher besides this bug though

Hi there

As it says above. whenever the launcher is used, it activates easy comms in game, even though there is no option in the launcher. If I disable easy comms in game, and bypass the launcher, all is well... easy comms remains off. But the launcher will re-activate it every time. What else is the launcher doing behind the scenes????????

Personally, the communication menu disappears as soon as the plane is in flight, and impossible to reactivate it whatever the radio config (realistic com activated, easy com, etc, etc) I tried the different keys and key combinations , Nothing !
the com menu display is displayed perfectly on the ground, but in flight, nothing

Do any of you encounter this problem?

What are you using to pull up the comms menu in air?  It sounds like you are using the "Communication menu" binding which works on the ground (and should work in the air with EASY COMMS.  Check your bindings are correct and use the "COMM Switch - COMM 1" and "COMM Switch - COMM 2" bindings if you are using realistic comms.

I tried in the DCS menu Easy com, réalistic com, aide com, all com options open or unchecked, apparently Easy com works in flight with the "easy com" option, at least in the choice of menu options main "immediate action" and missions, also in the "cerberus north" campaign.
but in the "green line" campaigns, Bold cheetah", which requires a realistic option or it is the trigger of the campaign which opens the "com" menu for supplies and landing box 3, the "com" menu does not does not open (I use the requested frequencies using the "com1" and "com2" button) the dialogues work perfectly
I left with a clean DCS, with the very latest version, having deleted everything relating to the previous version (main simu folder, documents, register etc etc)

I redid all my Joystick, keyboard, rudder configs (a lot of work.....lol) but nothing has changed

In addition to always enabling easy comms, the launcher is also disabling mirrors.

I don't understand !!!! everything worked perfectly before update 2.9! and the openBeta upgrade to DCS, never had a single problem, since multitude of bugs!!!!

I use: a 13900k, an CM MSI Tomawhawk Z790  an RTX 4090inno 3d, 64GB DDR5 6000, a Hotas Wathog, a Pimax 8kx

Since this obviously isn't a widespread issue, you should post a track and see if others can recreate what you're seeing in the same mission.

I do confirm this! I do not find the option for the easy comms in the launcher so I'm not sure if this is connected with the launcher itself. Though since the update I do have to uncheck easy comms after each restart. I do have a track if so wished but it only shows that that comms are working in easy mode not that I do have to switch options prior to start. So the bug isn't considered in the mission but within the start of DCS.

After the latest update (the one with the new launcher), I noticed that everytime I start up my comms are set to EASY COMMUNICATIONS.
I don't use EASY COMMUNICATIONS, so I guess it is a bug that  everytime now it is switched back on.

Have you guys noticed that too ?

For 2 hours I've been wondering why my Kiowa Radio doesn't work (it doesn't work with Easy Com), I noticed that it's still "on" here.

Ok, it works. Uffff....... 

Launcher off, Easy Com off. DCS remembers it now.
