From each files' timestamps retouch in the latest updating ...

-DCS World/ root folder
+- Sounds.edce --- 3 GB
+Mods/ F-5E 2024/ folder
--+ Cockpit/ Textures/ folder 800 MB
--+ Textures/ folder 800 MB
--+ Liveries/ F-5E3_2024/ folder 2 GB

and 30x Sounds.edce files under Mods/ or CoreMods/ folders total 1.3 GB

Hmm, that still doesn’t explain 4.7GB for some and 10GB for others - as I for one don’t own FC2024

Right, but the manifest and dll files don't add up to gigabytes of data.

There are a lot of very unique weapons on the JF17, BRMs, 802aks, AKG, 400(soon?).

 

I only ask because even the 701s where in a pretty good spot & I am not sure why they had been changed in the first place. Leads me to wonder about its more unique weapons.

I think the F-5E 2024 is the updated Full Fidelity Module. The FC2024 F-5E folder is F-5E_FC

Good point: I just checked and I do indeed have a "F-5E 2024" folder in /Mods. Silly naming conventions, confusing people like that...
