CommandT Posted July 29 Posted July 29 Hi all, I asked this a long time ago already but nobody seemed to have an answer so I thought I would try again. Does anyone know how you could replicate this very slow rotational/ panning shot like Matt Wagner used to do in his videos? The same as in the start of this video here: Many thanks!
NoJoy Posted July 31 Posted July 31 (edited) Try right Strg+F2, for zooming and panning your view with w,a,s,d and mouse for rotation. Guess that's what you mean Cheers Edited July 31 by NoJoy Brrrrrrrrrrrt I'd rather call in a Strike Eagle... NoJoy Posted July 31 Posted July 31 Sorry german keyboard layout *sigh*, its control right for you english friends! Adding shift with right control+F2 for slow panning and zooming 2 Brrrrrrrrrrrt I'd rather call in a Strike Eagle... As you can tell from the video above, the slow panning/ rotational shot that keeps the aircraft centered is completely different. Another question I have is whether it's possible to have a super slow translational movement of the camera with the mouse wheel in free view mode - atm one scroll movement of the mouse wheel up or down results in a translational movement of the camera forward or backwards but at a much higher rate than I would ideally like for a cinematic close-up shot, and I cannot find any way of reducing these mouse wheel increments to have a slower translational movement

He’s using the F2 view as he slowly changes the heading of the helo. The helo stays centered, while the directional change pans the view. 1 YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU1...CR6IZ7crfdZxDg _____ Win 11 Pro x64, Asrock Z790 Steel Legend MoBo, Intel i7-13700K, MSI RKT 4070 Super 12GB, Corsair Dominator DDR5 RAM 32GB.

Kang Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago The truth is that Wags has an assistant who moves the mouse very slowly and smoothly. 1
GrafRotz Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago truth is, they have other abilities, than we have. e.G. B-52 low level flyby a carrier as seen in 2023 and beyond. Impossible to recreate, as the AI does not fly lower than 300 feet. As far as I could find out.

Hopefully not so slow that you don’t notice it. There are two commands to slow the motion down. “LCtrl-]” slows down the slew speed of the keyboard, while “LCtrl-[“ slows it down if slewing with the mouse. I find the mouse works best for me. OTOH, if you have a spare controller laying around and want to dedicate it solely to external views, that would probably give you the most control.
