Pilotasso
FC 2.0 is a move of a genius: once DCS modules start covering fliables in FC the first will gradualy replace the former uniting the communities as both ar MP compatible, that is if compatibility extends to A-10 and beyond. Yskonyn
?!!? I'm not talking flight models but graphic details here, if they're on a DCS:BS level FPS should be similar! In that case I stand corrected, sir. ;) Physics also impact FPS and because graphics wise DCS:BS isn't THAT much better than FC I thought you were talking flightmodels here. :joystick: :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-E, 32GB Crucial Ballistix 2400Mhz, Intel i7 9700K 5.0Ghz, Asus GTX1080 8GB, SoundBlaster AE-5, G15, Streamdeck, DSD Flight, TM Warthog, VirPil BRD, MFG Crosswind CAM5, TrackIR 5, KW-908 Jetseat, Win 10 64-bit ”Pilots do not get paid for what they do daily, but they get paid for what they are capable of doing. It was a brilliant idea! We'll get DCS and LockOn players/pilots reunite. This is what any of us would imagine that it's possible. But we had kinda similar situation with FC when it came out. At least whole family will be together again.
Aeroscout
Wonderful news! I've been waiting for this. Every single wish I had for FC was included and them some! Shame about Crimea though. I liked that end of the map. But i think it's a worthy sacrifice for BS compatibility! This is an absolutely brilliant move! And $15 is nothing! Aero DCS Wishlist: 1) FIX THE DAMN RIVERS!!! 2) Spherical or cylindrical panorama view projection. 3) Enhanced input options (action upon button release, etc). 4) Aircraft flight parameter dump upon exit (stick posn, attitude, rates, accel, control volume, control-surface positions, SAS bias, etc). 5) ADS-33 maneuver courses as static objects. 6) Exposed API or exports of trim position and stick force for custom controllers. 7) Select auto multiple audio devices

Flyby
juar imagine For those mission builders among us this is liable to be a great new twist. Imagine breathers flying the Su25T performing SEAD for Black Sharks so they can close in and be close air support for friendly forces. Can that happen now? Imagine flying the fast movers high overhead to ward off the other guy's fast movers. I wonder how many players can be supported online? MiGgressor
I'm sorry if anyone was offended by my comments, I didn't realise the extent of the 'upgrade' at the time. Please accept my apologies, I've read the whole thing now and I'll be more than willing to acquire this product (looking forward to it!). CHola
Good news! One practical question. Will FC2.0 share open FM/cockpit/ architecture like BS originally has and thus enable easier and more precise modding?? Thx. Cheers, CHola

3Sqn_Sven
To the Team at ED - excellent work! You have listened to the community and done a brave thing. Making it a paid upgrade is an excellent compromise, giving you the flexibility to do the work that needs to be done . You have just given this game an extension in life of several years. I think I speak for all of 3Sqn when I say thank you and you have our full support. 3Sqn - Largest distributor of Flanker, Fulcrum and Frogfoot parts in the Black Sea Region
