Personally I would like the FA/18 Super Hornet and the AH/64D Apache Longbow but not in that order.

The next aircraft I want is the F-4 Phantom, but given the choices, I picked the F-15. I would like a DCS : F-15A which would be almost contemporary with the MiG-21bis. But given that the MiG-21bis needs a close match for online play, the perfect plane would be the F-5E. The F-5E would also go very well with the Nevada terrain. So, since the F-15C is already coming and no one has even started an F-4, I would like the F-5E next!

So, preferences:

1. F-4E -- the only aircraft I would ever fly if DCS : F-4 is accurate enough

2. F-5E

3. F-15A

4. MiG-23MF

What's Next? DCS F/A-18E?

Isn't it time for DCS to put out a fast jet? While the last few projects have been interesting, most folks were drawn to the series for code written pre-2011 or earlier. I sincerely hope you guys aren't going down the rabbit hole on DCS B-17 or something else of no immediate military application in DCS World. :) The fans would seem to say the Super Hornet is in order, and that is certainly a noteworthy project worthy to be compared to the Warthog and the Ka-50.

Eagle Dynamics is currently working on a DCS: F/A-18C which will be A-10C quality. The exterior, aka 3D, model is already inside of the current version of DCS. The AI of the F/A-18C is the same exterior we will see in the DCS: F/A-18C.

The Super Hornet (F/A-18E) will be developed by Coretex Designs, a third part developer who is currently working on the aircraft as we speak and also have their own section on the forum: http://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=255

They already have images etc. I am also hoping to see the F/A-18 in DCS. That will probably be my favorite fast mover on DCS!

DCS F-15 and Su-27 are also coming. They will first be released as AFM upgrades for FC3.

A 3rd party dev was planning on MiG-29, but had to abandon for some reason. Maybe they will pick it up again later.

Awaiting: DCS F-15C

No AESA radar yet so probably early Block I. I say that's a good thing because it adds depth to tactics and management.

AESA would be sick though, especially if it was a Foxtrot.

Ahh, fixed wing wish list. Being a child of the 70-80's I have a fascination with possible cold war gone hot scenarios... of course there are aircraft I just really like as well. Here's what I would like to see:

1. F-4U-4 Corsair

2. F-4G Phantom II

3. F-4E Phantom II (preferably an ARN-101 bird)

4. F-14D Super Tomcat

5. F-111F Aardvark

6. B-1B Lancer (Block D CMUP)

7. MC-130H Combat Talon II

8. OV-10A Bronco

9. Mirage F-1CT

10. Tornado ECR

11. F-105G Thunderchief

12. A-6E TRAM Intruder

13. F-4S Phantom II

14. F-4F Phantom II (pre ICE/KWK mod... I love the Norm 81 camo)

15. F-14A Tomcat

I doubt half of this list will make it into the sim but it would be great to have the options.

Truly superior pilots are those that use their superior judgment to avoid those situations where they might have to use their superior skills.

ahh a person after my own heart. I absolutely love Vietnam era a/c especially. Even an F105 would be sufficient.

Well I definitely think....

That at the moment it is a bit uneven and the Americans certainly need something a bit more modern than the F-15C. Something that can keep up with the Russian aircraft, so my suggestion to help the poor Americans is......

EUROFIGHTER :)

They have F-22's ... but really, the F-15C does a fine job on its own. No Eurofighter needed ;)

Old and meaningless news. Simple 1v1 setups where the F-22 got equal kills to the tiffy - pretty good for the big, heavy Raptor ;)

Raptors, Eurofighters, whatever...!

What about the Falcon that many of us are looking for? I've also seen a video done by someone here, i don't know if he's a DCS member or simply a fan, but he did a god job so far as i saw with the F-16, and that's what brought my eyes wide opened:)! Now i can't tell exactly how accurate could he bring an F-16's flight model (regardless of the filtered FBW inputs), as it's aerodynamic's behaviour is similar to that of a Flanker and F-18 in terms of high variation in pitch stability with alpha, but let's hope he put that thing in it's place using the data provided by NASA's TP 1538 (which i've read already). The only thing that seemed a bit high was the yaw motion's acceleration, everything else is harder to tell about how well it replicates the real behaviour, yet it might look good already.

The day that DCS will announce for bringing in the Fighting Falcon..., would be a very great day of my life...! So far i'm just praying that it would come in mind for someone to bring it in! I'm willing to pay double the price of FC3 so far, for a lone DCS F-16C Block 50-52 (or 60) module if i could have, just to chill my eagerly wish for such an aircraft!

Here are some real entertaining videos of the F-16 Fighting Falcon!:

Good aircraft this is even in one engine:

A good day to everyone!

Mistakes, obviously, show us what needs improving. Without mistakes, how would we know what we had to work on!

Making DCS a better place for realism.

Let it be, ED!

Quoted from the very link you posted:

However, as already explained several times, simulated kills scored during dissimilar BFM engagements don’t prove a fighter plane is better than another one, and are almost meaningless unless the actual Rules Of Engagement (ROE) and the training scenario are known.
