SO long as it comes out before A10 then Alls good, What would kill us all, is having A10 on our systems, and no Warthog to fly with :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Fighter pilots make movies, Attack pilots make history, Helicopter pilots make heros. :pilotfly: Corsair 570x Crystal Case, Intel 8700K O/clocked to 4.8ghz, 32GB Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3200 MHZ Ram, 2 x 1TB M2 drives, 2 x 4TB Hard Drives, Nvidia EVGA GTX 1080ti FTW, Maximus x Hero MB, H150i Cooler, 6 x Corsair LL120 RGB Fans And a bloody awful Pilot

CrashEd Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Same here. Merely limping along until the WH comes out. Was saving up for an Nxt and Cubby mod, but now the WH is imminent I'd be silly not to get that first. I will upgrade my Cougar one day though!!
hassata Posted September 21, 2010 Author Posted September 21, 2010 Why? You can just stick the Cougar stick onto the Warthog base! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Revvin Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Why? You can just stick the Cougar stick onto the Warthog base! I suppose if he wants to use the Cougar F16 throttle it would make sense for him to mod his existing stick and just use that as a standalone unit unless you can use the throttle plugged into a Cougar that has no stick in place. Perhaps Thrustmaster will consider making a separate F16 throttle, they have all the moulds and tooling for the Cougar, if they updated the electronics and made the interface USB it could work as long as they also correct some of its flaws.
LawnDart Posted September 21, 2010 Posted September 21, 2010 Why? You can just stick the Cougar stick onto the Warthog base! Why would you want to do that? I might use the HW handle on my FSSB, but honestly the HW makes me not want to use anything else. Anyway, my point is that the HW handle is much nicer... and you can use it on your HW or HC base! Callsign.Vega Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Things rarely sell for full MSRP. I expect the low end of $400 just like my pre-order at shopblt.com. Squid_DK Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 I can't even remember when I used a keyboard, must have been way back before USB controllers, I had a Suncom F-15 joystick that failed several times, then about a few weeks before my CH fighterstick and throttle arrived, witc gameport cabling, those were the days before Pentiums. way back when DOS ruled. man I'm a dinosaur. Feuerfalke Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Way before USB here. I had my old CH Fighterstick some 14 years in use, or so. Great stick and I loved the fact that it had the programming stored in the device. That made it really easy to program and use - no silly startup of software to run in the background, like it's the case with most sticks today. 1 MSI X670E Gaming Plus | AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | 64 GB DDR4 | AMD RX 6900 XT | LG 55" @ 4K | Cougar 1000 W | CreativeX G6 | TIR5 | CH HOTAS (with BU0836X-12 Bit) + Crosswind Pedals | Win11 64 HP | StreamDeck XL | 3x TM MFD

MTFDarkEagle Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 simw (dot) com has it on preorder, release date 20 oct. Price: €399 :) I nearly have the money to preorder :) Lukas - "TIN TIN" - 9th Shrek Air Strike Squadron TIN TIN's Cockpit thread
Squid_DK Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 I changed my preorder from Amazon to SimWare, I'd save very little but according to the dates I'll have it about a week earlier than from Amazon so a no brainer. Bwaze Posted September 23, 2010 Posted September 23, 2010 Pasted images from Amazon together. Nice box art, and almost readable. So, another month and a half of waiting... But it looks like it will be worth it. Although I must admit I'm looking forward to try the TARGET on Cougar first. 1
