Yeah, those poll results are totally out of date and invalid at this time.

I'm another Win 10 user.

Just got my new Win 10 system. Going from Win7.

Is there anything I should be aware of before I begin the long process of re-installing everything on new system? Will I have to de-license anything and what if I can't dig up the SN's from modules I bought years ago?

Give it some time. You will grow to like it.

Felt the same when I first upgraded from Win7.

Once use to it I like it just fine. Much better than 7. I skipped 8.

Win 10 pro 64 for a year and a half now (preview first on 4 different machines).

It was good to go in near everything I needed to do about a year ago except for proper sound drivers for my soundblaster ZX card which took a bit longer.

I am getting swamped with last minute upgrade requests now.

Win 10 convinced me to stop dual booting with Linux on my main machine.

Windows phone and 2 win 10 machines in use here and 2 Linux Mint machines still. I'll be dropping down to one Linux machine as soon as possible.

I found win 7 the most frustrating thing I ever saw.

Win 8 was a huge improvement once the desktop was setup like xp/vista IMO.

Win 10 rocks once one gets it tweaked and privacy settings are altered to something acceptable.

Win 10 pro 64 bit. Intel i7 4790 4 Ghz running at 4.6. Asus z97 pro wifi main board, 32 gig 2400 ddr3 gold ram, 50 inch 4K UHD and HDR TV for monitor. H80 cpu cooler. 8 other cooling fans in full tower server case. Soundblaster ZX sound card. EVGA 1080 TI FTW3. TM Hotas Wartog. TM T.16000M MFG Crosswinds Pedals. Trackir 5.

Originally polled Win 7 but I finally moved to Win 10. I waited as long as I felt I needed to to see that it wasn't going to cause me compatibility troubles. With the July deadline looming I made the switch about 3 weeks ago.

Not too many problems. I needed some new drivers here and there, sound mainly.

There were a LOT of intrusive "features" that I had to disable. Photo was particularly annoying, trying to scan my system for pics all the time - uninstalled.

I disabled all the sync features.

Some apps looked fuzzy in Win 10. Turns out that Win 10 didn't let some apps handle my 125% rescaling. I found a utility XPEWindows10_DPI_FIX that sorts that one.

The start menu took a little adjusting to.

The way recently used files are shown is very clunky compared to Win 7, maybe more powerful but takes more actions to reach.

On the good side - Games still work :)

My wallpaper slideshow still works.

Apps open up a little quicker.

Unofficial word in the Seattle area is Microsoft will extend the 10 offering. No real reason not to at this point.
