Loz Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Been waiting for quite a while to be able to finish my v2.1 of the Helios panel for A-10C and with the latest version, released just last night, I can finally call it complete. What do you think? Helios Front Panel. In sim front panel shot at the same moment. Both the Helios software (which is donation ware) and my profile (free of charge of course LOL) available at www.scsimulations.com These shots show the front instrument panel but in my profile there are 8 hidden pullout panels for Left and Right console, Radio panel, Airport Chart panel, UFC, TISL panel, CDU and Warning Panel, and Lighting Panel. You can view all of these in the A10C download section of the Helios site. Just look for the file Loz SM v2.1 If you like the look of it and you have a spare monitor to run it on then I cannot recommend Helios highly enough. A great addition to both this and Black Shark. 6 i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. Spectre_USA Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) Question for anyone whose used this decidedly cool looking app. Can it poll across a network? I have 2 monitors on my server, and share one with the game machine as it never particularly cared for the KVM switches I've tried. I'd like to run Helios on the 2008 server, and be running the sim on the gaming tower and have it all updating over a 1GB network? Does this make sense? Not too much to me LOL Never had much to do with networking but have a look over at scsimulations.com where I think I have seen some threads relating to that. :D i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. "Just because you have the other monitor?" Hehe. :P Just like in any other form of flight sim your Instrument panel is there fixed in front of you and doesn't move around as you look around. Plus, as Mac pointed out, it is so much easier and realistic to just reach out and push a button rather than having to take the mouse to it. i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. Loz Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 damn, thats really nice loz. can U put up screens of the other panels when activated? No problem jeffy. :) Here are four pics showing all eight pullout panels. They look overcrowded, of course because you rarely have to pull them out together like this, except maybe for a full start on the ground. Left and Right Consoles You can see in the above, that after v1.33 and a request from a user to make provision for Non TM Warthog users, I'v included an Eng, APU, Flap, and Auto Pilot panel, as per the Warthog throttle. Radio and CDU Consoles Calling up the CDU panel automatically changes the right MFCD to the CDU page. UFC and TISL panels Airport Chart and Lighting panels Many thanks to SHU77 for his great work on the Airport Charts. i9 9900x at 5.1 Ghz // ASUS ROG Maximus XI Formula EK Bloc // 64Gb Corsair Vengence 3600Mhz DDR4 Ram // Gigabyte Aorus 3090 Watercooled block//Samsung SM951 M2 x4 SSD // Windows 10 64 Bit //48inch LG48 @ 3840x2160 120Hz//Asus ROG Swift PG35VQ 3440 x 14440 144Hz // TM Warthog HOTAS (Ser. Can i manually drag the windows to a corresponding screen and, for example, have a touchscreen left of me, where I can put my left Console on? Greetings Chris If you are picturing moving panels on the fly, that only occurs in the editor. You create a layout in the editor but the display is fixed to the layout that you created. It is easy to manipulate and make changes but you can't move a panel to a new location while you are playing.
