Isn´t there already a mod for that? It should be under "user files" on the official site.

 

That is a really old mod by Mustang. It predates World so I don't know if it will have issues or not.

Huge improvement. Period.

While tiling becomes slightly more apparent at medium altitudes, the experience of speed at low altitudes as well as the sight at hills and planes in the distance is greatly improved. The tiling is no real issue however. Maybe I just got used to the old textures so much that I didn´t notice it anymore. hehe...

FPS on my laptop (2GB VRAM) didn´t drop noticeably in comaprison.

Wish I could rep you again for this.

Yeah, it´s really old. Never tried it with World because after a complete reinstall I tried to keep mods to a minimum. Might be worth a second look or maybe someone else is using it in World...?

Use JSGME for your mods. It is completely painless for most mods.
