Conclusion:

So it seems like the AI being turned on seems to cause an issue. If only 1-2 people are on they are able to have the live range activated and it works fine. It seems like adding more pilots starts to create the issue.

Perhaps the problem is some sort of AI/Client sync error.

So in theory if all the activate ranges were turned on at the beginning to of the mission instead of being activate it might resolve the issue? I'll have to run some tests.

It's possible that may even make the problem worse. If my theory is correct, any client joining after the AI is activated would be disconnected.

I'll see if I can get the gang on the server for a test tonight.

 

Although this might have been the "stability" issue that they were trying to fix that delayed CA's initial release.

Flew with my squad tonight. 8 players. AI OFF at the beginning of the mission. Everything went well. Turned AI ON, still ok, but for some reason, one of the pilots disconnected. He never managed to come back into the MP server. Systematically got the 'disconnected from server'. The ones who stayed all night on the server never got the problem.

 

Then we tried again by having the host turning AI ON before anyone logged in. The third client to connect either got the 'disconnected from server' or kicked out one player before him, triggering a 'Disconnected' to the latter.

Got disconnected even if I tryed to remove the Network.cfg from "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Saved Games\DCS\Config" and I thought that this sorted the Connection interrupted problem but still the same problem.

 

Then I actualy did a full reinstall of DCS World and all my Modules and the fist server I joined worked and did so untill I quit about 2-3 hrs later.

 

Then when I try to join servers today I get Connection Interrupted after about 1-3min all the time, even when a server have not started yet and with only on other player (Admin).

 

I wanna fly with other players :cry:

 

EDIT:

Did actualy a test and deactivated my AV/FW program and I did not get "Connection Interrupted", did a quick test thou for about 10min and I seemed to work, Ill keep testing with this and report back...

Thanks for doing a test. Seems to reconfirm my suspicion that the AI is causing the issue.

again yesterday we were 5 pilot try to join other server ( our was off line )

Really frustrating. A mess , in 3 hours we were able to have 15 min continuos flight on line ; the rest were "connection interrupted ".. but is someone from ED looking after this thread?

We had a total black out also. we tryied to enter the master server but game crashed before the login. No error messege just crash before asking the login . At 5 of us out of 5 ... like if we were banned ... strange thing also because we did nothing wrong and there were no massege just game crashed in login ...then after 15 minutes about we were able to connect to master server and then to USF open server and fly at spot of 10 minutes and then the usual "connection interrupted".

very annoying.

Experienced this ourselves last night! May have found the solution possibly! The host was using the network speed set to LAN and we were using ADSL 256. We changed our setting to LAN too and we no longer got the connection interrupted message!! This may have been a coincidence but it seemed to work fine

Maybe if you try this next time and see, matching what the hosts network speed setting...

I don't know if it's already been said, cause at the moment I really do not have the time to read those pages, but...

 

We had this issue too: in my vSQ our server manager tried to set the server in "LAN" mode instead of "internet", than all the client also goes in "LAN" mode. Everyone connected using the "connect by IP" option whithout any single "connection interrupted" message, even who (like me) can't connect at the server if run in "internet" mode.

 

Obviously you need to know the server IP address and you won't see it in the server list.

 

Sorry cause I can't produce any tracked proof of this behaviour.

 

 

PS also we notice that when a client get the "connection interrupted" message, the server restart the mission.

An airplane by it's nature wants to fly, and if not interfered with too strongly by unusual events or by a deliberately incompetent pilot, it will fly. A helicopter does not want to fly. It is maintained in the air by a variety of forces in opposition to each other, and if there is any disturbance in this delicate balance the helicopter stops flying; immediately and disastrously.

I can't see my squad server from 2/3 days.

I'm sure it's online, I handle it with Teamviewer, and my mates are able to see it in the list and join.

If I try to join via IP i obtain "Connection Interrupted"

Alt tab causes connect interrupted but also I've found that by not running TS3 there is less chance of connection interrupted. The CI failure is pretty ambiguous because as some beta testers stated many things can cause it so it makes it hard for use to nail down the exact cause when theoretically everyone could be having differnt issues to cause the CI.

 

At any rate DCS series never had issues with TS3 or alt tab before hopefully it gets sorted.

I am disconnected before i can start up the A-10. This is not tolerable.

I want to play online again! I am going to install old 1.1.1.1 to see if that works.

DCS isnt online playable anymore.... i always get connection interruped... some times even before i can startup my A-10C... sometimes after 15 minutes... but for sure it comes.

had this all weekend, start up, taxi, Connection Interupted.

 

Also had "DCS.exe has Stopped Responding" Windows will now Close,

after clicking on Multiplayer and Signing in (seems it was related to the Server/List), if i chose cancel, and switched to LAN instead of Internet, Then Logged In, I was able to Logging without Windows Killing the Process.
