Is it hard to order it in US and then ship it to Russia?

War Thunder guys managed to get it, in Russia.

I know at least one member of ED's staff has used that technique to acquire aircraft manuals.

Awesome news, Wags.

One question: does this mean projects like DCS:WW2 will also have this feature, or is this feature still depending on individual module/aircraft developers?

if you manage to get a oculus rift try the outerra ah-64 and the mig-29 they are realy awesome.

Saldy i can't play without my glasses .. even not with the C cups, which make it quite uncomfortable.

The screenpixels are also very strong which makes objects (at least for me with my glasses) in distance very unsharp.

Great news!! This could change gaming and especially simulation for ever if it works as promised!! Bring it on.

if they manage it to provide a higher resolution (i don't think 1080p is enough) and manage to reduce the pixelgate.. yes : )

Wags, this is great news! Don't be surprised by the low resolution, it will get fixed for the consumer version, but prepare to have your mind blown! This thing is awesome. The HD version they demo at conventions now is much better in terms of screendoor effect and panel latency, I expect the consumer version to improve further, so it will be very viable hardware to have in flight sims.

Thanks, but I'll have it first sent to me for evaluation and then it will be forwarded directly to Moscow.

When we have further news, I'll let you all know.

Cool ! And dont exchange the lcd with your old CRT screen ^^

I hope DCS can be listed in any official rift supported gamelist or even better, being highlighted as the most realistic combat flightsimulator.

The best advantages of advertisement via extremely popular hardware is it's applicable software packages. It's just one of those things you have to get in those early days for a big exposure.

I hope Oculus can sort out the simulator sickness because anything outside of a cock pit makes me feel really sick. I'm getting that I feel sick just thinking about putting the rift on if it's not a cockpit game. I just watched a video someone put up for Metro last light on the rift and boy do I regret it. I only had the rift on for a few minutes to watch it and now I feel really sick. This is driving me nuts because I thought you were supposed to get used to it after a week or so of using it.
