Another update today... god the updater is sooooo sloooow for me. Its painful.

It would be equally nice to know what's being worked on... I'm sure that's asking too much but it would sure help rejuvinate interest and renew enthusiasm for the dev team that is putting this together.

Identified Five files that can conflict with a installed mod in the list above:

 

High.lua - affect appearance of render-distances in the scene when using "High" scene settings

hdr.fx -shader file for visual appearance of HDR settings and the sun

Ocean.fx - shader file for visual appearance of the water surface

ViewportHandling.lua - sets global rules when a view-port/export is visible

graphics.cfg - controls various global graphic settings, most common user-tweak in this file is to lock the MaxFPS.

PeterP i should have said.. i had altered all of those except ocean.fx & hdr.fx so its possible the other were installed as part of the verify files process. But they could alternatively also be included for all, especially as i suspect this is a fps optimisation update.

Hum, the fact that the *protect* files are updated let me guess that the problem with undue activations should be solved with this version.

Tried running the updater several times, along with the RepairDCSWorld.exe, but to no avail - this is what I get every time I run updater:

Having trouble getting multiplayer to work.... I had it working in 1.2.0 but now it's telling me incorrect code!!! I have purchased the game and played all through the beta stages. Could this be a registry thing as I have installed to a new SSD? I can use single player but not connect to servers.

1) hash mismatch error is now correctly identified as server overload. (not sure it got into 1.2.1.6148, if not, it'll be in the next update for sure)

 

2) autoupdate.log file is for troubleshooting purposes only. Human-readable changelogs will come.

It is on the list of a Million other things to do :) It isn't being ignored.

 

EDIT:-BTW FPS should be restored to 1.2.0 levels or better for high settings and improved 20% for low settings in 1.2.1.6192

strange ... mine still 6148 and the Auto-update doesn't kick in :cry:

 

Just found out why on another post:

This happens when the server gets hammered c0ff has promised more intelligible messages soon.

The new water is gone in version 6192 when set to low....thats a shame...I thought it looked great and didnt cause me any fps loss... another step backwards ED.

But noticed big fps increase in 6192.

Well they cant make everyone happy. Someone will inevitably be disappointed. You say its a step backward and I disagree. Now its working really good. Keep it up ED.

1. Mouse cursor issue is still present and annoying as hell.

 

2. And I get the "program stopped working" crash every time I quit DCSW.
