As far as theaters of operations are concerned, there was something like a couple of new ones in developpement by modders a while back. Afghanistan (I'm pretty sure of that one) and Mandchuria (not so) come to mind.

However, it has been a while since I saw news about these, so I don't know whether they have been abandonned (which would be a shame), or are still actively developped, or are on hold (like, waiting for EDGE to continue).

Don't know if anyone has any more news on this

I imagine these things will all come in time, Nevada is being worked on, and as far as I know the 3rd party license agreement isn't limited to aircraft, so who knows what things could come out in the future. For all you know the next 3rd party DCS project could be a T80 tank and a Antarctic theater =P

There is also an F-16 in development. That list looks awsome I never new a SU34 was being made.

My best guess is the Su-34 is a Russian mod project. Also another Russian and an amazing Su-25A cockpit made, not sure what happened with it.

Mig-29

I forget where this one was on the forums. It might not be set in stone, but someone was looking into it.

I believe a group posted that they were working on the F-16C, but haven't heard much since. There are 3rd parties out there who have not revealed their existence, nevermind what they're working on.
